Reality star Honey Boo Boo rushed to hospital following car accident as Mama June expresses concerns

Honey Boo Boo has been rushed to hospital after being involved in a car accident.
Real name Alana Thompson, Honey Boo Boo shot to fame on TLC's Toddlers & Tiaras before going on to get her own TV show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
Honey Boo Boo's mom, June Thompson - lovingly known as 'Mama June' - also shot to fame on the shows and got her own reality series too.
Many of their fans follow them on Instagram, and Mama June took to the social media platform on Friday (September 26) to tell her 813,000 followers that Honey Boo Boo had been involved in a car accident.

"Somebody actually wasn't paying attention and T-boned her on her road," June said of the incident. "They are always speeding on her road."
She went on to reveal that the other driver was a 23-year-old man who admitted to going 40mph and that he 'probably wasn't paying attention'.
"With that being said, Alana is fine," June went on to reassure everybody. "She was hit on the driver's side of her car. It could have been a lot worse. She was [taken] to the hospital.
"She does have back pain, she is having some headache issues, but we are headed to Denver to be able to get her a rental car and to get her set."
In the caption of the video the worried mom said her 'stomach dropped' when she got the phone call about Honey Boo Boo's accident, especially as the pair live '23 hours away' from each other.
"Today is definitely been a crazy day since 3 o’clock," she penned. "This is [why] I hate that Alana Thompson is 23 hours away, but she is following her dreams when you get that phone call and your stomach drops and all you can hear is someone hollering."
June said that Honey Boo Boo was now recovering at home.
"She is resting. It could’ve been a lot worse than it was. She is banged up a little bit but other than that she is OK first car wreck."
In an update given on Saturday (September 27), June said she's spoken to her daughter and she said that she was 'sore this morning'.
June proceeded to thank people for their thoughts and prayers and promised to share more details on the situation.
Honey Boo Boo herself is yet to speak out on the accident.
