Conor McGregor married long-term fiancee Dee Devlin at The Vatican last month, and many people on the internet are saying the same thing.
The retired MMA fighter tied the knot in the historic Chiesa di Santo Stefano Degli Abissini on December 12, 2025, after the pair met at a Dublin nightclub way back in 2008.
Prior to the big day, McGregor, who was previously found liable for sexual assault in a 2024 Irish civil case involving Nikita Hand, stated he had undergone a 36-hour psychedelic drug treatment in Mexico.
The 37-year-old penned: "Hey guys, I am back. I was blessed to meet the most forward thinking doctors from Stanford University and undergo a series of treatments to address trauma.

"I travelled to Tijuana Mexico and underwent Ibogaine treatment at AMBIO. Watch the Netflix documentary just released titled In Waves and War as it is the exact place I went.

"It was incredible, intense, and absolutely eye opening. I was shown what would have been my death. How soon it was to be, and how it would have impacted my children. I was looking down on myself as it happened, and then I was looking out from the coffin."
Sharing pictures of his wedding day to Instagram, McGregor explained how taking the psychedelic drug inspired him to marry his partner.

Many flocked to social media to question McGregor's reasoning for deciding to say 'I do', with one person on X penning: "Sooo bro got married because of Ibogaine, but not because he loves his wife lmao wut…."
While a second added: "'I got so high I married my wife' is not the flex you think it is."
There were a lot of positive comments regarding the wedding however, as one fan penned on Instagram: "So beautiful!! THE MCGREGORS!"
And another quipped: "Beautiful! Congratulations! God bless your marriage."
McGregor posted a number of snaps from the wedding day to his Instagram page, including pictures of the newly weds with their children.

Captioning the post, he wrote: "I married the love of my life, Dee, on the 12th of the 12th at exactly 12:12pm. We wed in the Chapel of Santo Stefano degli Abissini — the Vatican’s oldest church.
"I awoke from the treatment I underwent in Mexico with the most intense need to wed Dee, on this day, and in the Vatican. So I set about it with great urgency! It is clear this was not coincidence.
"God’s hand guided every detail, confirming His blessing on our union and His presence in my life. Serving God is my number one priority."
