Chris Evans 'marries' girlfriend Alba Baptista in private ceremony

Chris Evans and Alba Baptista have reportedly got married in a private ceremony.

E! News, Page Six and PEOPLE have reported the two actors got hitched at a residence in Massachusetts.

They were surrounded by loved ones, as well as Evans' Marvel co-stars Jeremy Renner, Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth.

Guests allegedly had to sign a non-disclosure agreement and their phones were confiscated to ensure their nuptials would be as private as possible.

A source told Page Six the whole wedding was 'locked down tight' and the ceremony was 'beautiful'.

They have been dating for at least a year and they're believed to have first linked up sometime in 2021.

The 42-year-old Marvel star and 26-year-old Warrior Nun actor went Instagram official back in January this year.

They did it via an Instagram Story where Chris and Alba took it in turns trying to scare each other.

Whether it's while doing laundry, walking past one another, or heading into or out of their apartment, they seemed to be experts at the stunt.

Over the course of the video, the pair manage to frighten each other eight different times.

But towards the end, Alba, who stars in Warrior Nun, gets used to her boyfriend's tricks, yelling: "I knew it!"

He revealed to PEOPLE last year what he looks for in a partner.

"Not so much what's on the outside, but your sense of self," he explained.

"To know and love yourself and be comfortable with who we are. You can feel it when someone has it. I'm not saying I do, I hate myself, [laughs] so I fooled you all."

'Vulnerability and humility' are a couple of other key qualities for Evans, who added: "I don't like to argue, I don't like to raise my voice or any forms of manipulation. I think declarations of love are great; I love love. I'm a bit of a sap like that. I like being sentimental, I cry pretty easily. At a good song, nice sunset, yeah, my emotions are bubbling."

He also said he was ready to settle down with someone and start a family.

"That's absolutely something I want," he said. "Some things you want just for you, or just for my family and my friends."
