An influencer’s comments about how much a man needs to make to date her have been slammed online as 'childish'.

When we date, there’s a certain expectation that both parties will agree to how much they’re willing to invest into the relationship.

Usually, it’s time and effort, but for some, it is financial investments too.

When it comes to Chinese Kitty, an influencer, rapper and former cast member of Love & Hip Hop, that financial aspect is pretty big.

The Chinese-Guyanese socialite from Queens, New York - whose real name is Taylor Hing - appeared on The Justin Laboy Show last week, where her connections to rappers and athletes were explored.

After diving into her start as an underage dancer, she began to explain what she’s looking for in a man, and specifically, what salary they must have.

Host Justin Laboy questioned the rapper, who once had beef with Niki Minaj, about the amount a man has to make per year in order to be in the running to date her.

At first, she said it couldn’t be ‘less than me’, but when pushed, she gave the real answer.

Laboy asked her: “What's the least amount of money a man could make per year to date Chinese Kitty?”

To this, she said: “People are going to be so mad at this. The least amount of money per year a man could make...it can't be less than a million dollars.”

After the host said she was being ‘way too humble’ and ‘answered that to try to impress an audience’, they tried again.

“What's the least amount of money a man could make that I've dated? That I personally dated?

“No less than 10 million.”

To this, the host praised her honesty, stating: “There you go. That's the answer we was waiting on. Period. You know what I'm saying? You got to spend a million on Kitty.”

Immediately, she began to explain why she feels this way.

She said there’s a certain level of upkeep that is required to date a ‘pretty b**ch’.

“People don't understand this. When you are a pretty b**ch, I don't give a f**k if you was born that way or you made it that way. You are invested in facials, f**king massages."

She went on to say you might need to provide the cash to get your girl a BBL, do her hair, keep her makeup on point and more.

Chinese said pretty b**ches like rich men, and rich men like pretty b**ches.

Because of this, she said she wouldn’t settle for less.

But people have called her out in the comments on social media, with people saying it’s too much money.

One person wrote: “She said facials, hair, nail. l, looking good to be a baddie to get a rich man…WOW I don’t know this young lady but God bless. Knowing your worth has nothing to do with material things.”

Another said: “How are you in your 30s with this childish mindset?”

Others, however, were on her said.

One person said: “He asked some real good questions. Y’all may not have liked her answers but at least she told her truth.”

If she can get a man like that, why not?
