In a rare personal update, Celine Dion has shared a new video with her millions of fans as she continues her battle with the extremely rare stiff-person syndrome (SPS).
The French-speaking Canadian superstar revealed her diagnosis with the incurable autoimmune neurological disease to the world in 2022, causing her to cancel a series of tour dates as the previously private condition worsened.
At the time, Dion, who has the third-highest album sales of any woman in the world, shared how the one-in-a-million condition touches every part of her life, with muscle spasms affecting her ability to walk and her world-famous vocal cords.
In a stylish Thanksgiving message to her followers, the 57-year-old Power of Love singer appeared in better shape than previously, reclined regally on a large cushion as she gave a measured delivery to the camera.

"Dear friends. today is a beautiful reminder to slow down, take a deep break, and give thanks," she said.

"There's something so powerful about gathering with the people you love. Whether round the full table, over the phone, or even just in your heart," she continued.
Her message is all the more poignant in the context of Dion's difficult past decade, which has been marred by tragedy and loss. In 2016, she lost her husband of five decades to cancer, and then two days later, she lost her 59-year-old brother Daniel to the disease as well.

Despite these difficulties, the celebrated singer has continued to express positivity in public as she continues life with her three boys, 24-year-old René-Charles, and twin boys Nelson and Eddy, 15.
However, last year it appeared that SPS was becoming difficult for the singer to manage, with Dion describing her difficult condition as feeling 'like somebody is strangling you'.
"Im so thankful to my family in our moments together that mean the world to me," she said in the rare seasonal update.

In the spirit of the season, she also shared what she was thankful for this year, adding: "I'm so thankful to my family and our moments together that meant the world to me."
Something Dion's army of lifelong fans will be thankful for this year will be the superstar's glowing appearance in her social media post, which is a marked contrast from when she revealed her diagnosis three years ago.
"Wishing everyone a beautiful and peaceful Thanksgiving," she wrote beneath the post, which garnered over 100,000 likes and thousands of comments wishing her well.
