Cardi B and Offset welcome their third child weeks after divorce

Cardi B and Offset have welcomed their third child together.
Taking to Instagram earlier today, Cardi posted a series of photos of her newborn baby girl.
"The prettiest lil thing," the rapper wrote in the caption along with pink heart and flower emojis. "9/7/24," she added revealing the baby's birth date to be Saturday, September 7.

Cardi and Offset were already parents to daughter Kulture, six, and son Wave, three. They have yet to reveal their new baby's name, however Cardi shared an adorable collection of photos from the hospital.
In one photo, Offset can be seen cradling the newborn while his two other children stand next to him and look on. She also posted an adorable video of her cradling the baby while listening to music.
The rapper initially announced her pregnancy a day after she filed for divorce from Offset.
Posting a photo of her wearing a red dress and showcasing her bump, Cardi wrote on Instagram in early August: "With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!
"You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!"
Cardi filed for divorce a day earlier in July after six years of marriage. A representative for the rapper confirmed the divorce news to PEOPLE saying: "It's not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming."
The pair began dating in 2017 and had an on-again, off-again relationship. After tying the knot that same year, the couple briefly separated a year later toward the end of 2018.
They rekindled their romance soon after, but then broke things off again in September 2020 when Cardi filed for divorce at an Atlanta courthouse.
Around two months later in November, Cardi called off the divorce and reconciled with Offset.
The pair welcomed their first child together, Kulture Kiari Cephus, on July 10, 2018. They welcomed son Wave Set Cephus three years later on September 4, 2021.
