A video of Bam Margera skateboarding has received an influx of support from fans.

The former Jackass star has been in and out of rehabilitation facilities as a result of his struggles with substance abuse.

In an interview on the Preston & Steve Show on 93.3 WMMR last week on Thursday (5 October), he reflected he 'bought a one-way ticket to hell and back' but is now in a 'phenomenal' place - 45 days sober, at the time of the interview.

Fans of the 44-year-old have since flooded to social media in praise of his road to recovery and cheering him on after a video of Margera skateboarding was shared on YouTube. Prepare to see some serious moves:

The video was posted by YouTube channel Just Shred Crew - three brothers from PA who love Skateboarding together [and] enjoy making video Skate edits and shredding [their] friends - earlier this month on 1 October.

The footage is made up of various clips showing Margera at skateparks, taking to the ramps and performing tricks.

And he can be seen smiling and laughing at the camera as he nails his skateboarding sessions.

One YouTube user said: "Dear skateboarding: please, save Bams life, as you have before.... sincerely, all of us."

"Cool asf seeing him today at the end of my session. Made my day! Stoked to see you active in the community again!" Another added.

A third commented: "It's great to see him in a much better head space and doing good. The guy has been through a lot over the years so this makes me happy to see."

"So cool to see him shredding again! He looks so stoked to be tearing it up and landing sick tricks. I wish him many more years of happiness!" A fourth added.

And a final resolved: "The fact he can shred like that now, proves he is one of the greatest skaters in history. I really hope the skating will give Bam something to work on that he loves."

Fans are excited by how happy Margera looks.
