Ariana Grande has previously made it clear she is not a fan of Donald Trump’s government, but has now made a series of digs at his supporters on Instagram.

Grande shared a post on her Instagram page yesterday that was critical of the Trump administration in the first 250 days of his tenure back in the White House.

Sharing the post on her Instagram story, Grande took direct aim at people who voted for Donald Trump during the last election.

The post sarcastically questioned whether Trump had truly lived up to his promises and whether he had made the average American person’s life better on topics they care about, such as lower food prices and affordable healthcare.

The post read: “I want to check in with Trump voters. I have one very genuine question.

“It’s been 250 days. Now that immigrants have been violently torn from their families and communities have been destroyed, now that trans people have been blamed for virtually everything and live in fear, now that free speech is on the brink of collapse for us all...- has your life gotten better?

“Have your groceries gotten cheaper? Has your health insurance premium gone down? Has your work/life balance improved?

"Can you take a vacation yet? Are you happier? Has the widespread suffering of others paid off for you in the way he promised it would, or are you still waiting?"

News of Grande’s post has spread on social media and people from both sides of the spectrum have commented their two cents.

One supporter of Grande wrote: “Genuine question. Kudos to her for being brave enough to ask it.”

Another wrote: “I love how she isnt afraid to post on whats right.”

And a third simply added: “I love Ariana grande.”

However, those who were critical of the comments also weighed in.

One person commented: “My grocery store added an graphic to items on their website, "price drop". Didn't see that during Biden!”

And another added: “Just because we disagree with an iota of Trump’s decisions, doesn’t mean we regret voting for him, nor does it mean we have stopped supporting him.”

And a third commented: “Yes our lives are much better. Thank you, next.”

A White House spokesperson has already hit back at Grande for her comments.

Speaking to TMZ, Kush Desai said: “Save your tears, Ariana, because President Trump’s actions ended Joe Biden’s inflation crisis and are bringing in trillions in new investments.

“He even signed an executive order just like magic that paved the way for the FTC to crack down on Ticketmaster for ripping off Ariana Grande’s concert-going fans. Get well soon, Ariana!”

UNILAD has contacted Ariana Grande and the White House for comment.
