Adult film star Sophia Leone has died aged 26 after being found ‘unresponsive’

Adult film star Sophia Leone's family have shared news of her 'sudden' passing.
The 26-year-old professional adult film star is best known for her roles in movies such as 2016 release Bad Neighbor directed by Ryan Madison and 2019's Cooling Down.
Sophia was found 'unresponsive' in her apartment in New Mexico on 1 March 'by her family,' according to a GoFundMe page set up by Sophia's stepfather, Mike Romero.

The GoFundMe page reads: "On behalf of her Mother & Family, It is with a heavy heart that I have to Share the news of our beloved Sophia’s Passing.
The page states an investigation by the 'local police' has been launched into Sophia's death to figure out the 'cause of death'.
However, a modeling agency which reportedly handled some of Sophia's bookings, as reported by New York Post, has also taken to social media to speak out about her unexpected passing.
101 Modeling wrote in a tweet: "Our hearts are broken by the untimely and tragic passing of our beloved Sophia Leone. A beautiful spirit who touched many of us. RIP sweet angel and know how much we loved you. A gofund me has been started for her family."
In the comments, responding to a user asking 'what happened' to Sophia, the modeling agency claims a 'robbery homicide' took place.
Another tweet added: "No. It is being investigated as a home invasion homicide."
UNILAD has contacted New Mexico State Police and Albuquerque police for comment.
The GoFundMe asks for donations to fund Sophia's memorial service.
It states: "The Sudden loss of Sophia has left her family and Friends devastated and in Shock, on top of The difficult process of grieving and Seeking Justice for Sophia the family is also facing the Financial burden that they were not prepared for.
"I am reaching out to all of Sophia’s supporters and the community during this incredibly difficult time. Sophia without question deserves the absolute best memorial and you can help us. Any donation no matter the amount will go straight towards the costs associated with the investigation, funeral expense’s, and any other costs that may arise as the family works through this heartbreak."
Sophia's step-dad describes her as a 'beloved Daughter, Sister, Grand Daughter, Niece and Friend'.
"She had a deep love for all animals, specifically her three pets. She enjoyed traveling and always found ways to make everyone around her smile," he adds.
The GoFundMe page does not give any details surrounding the investigation into Sophia's death, however it mentions 'seeking justice' for the adult film star.
Romero resolves: "As her Stepfather, I want to personally thank you for your kindness and generosity during this difficult time.
"Sophia will be deeply missed but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. May she rest in eternal peace."
