Megan Thee Stallion testifies against ex Tory Lanez in shooting trial

Megan Thee Stallion claims Tory Lanez told her to 'dance b***h'

Megan Thee Stallion has testified in court against her ex Tory Lanez.

The singer claims that the rapper shot her with a semi-automatic handgun, telling her to 'dance b***h' and injuring her foot during a violent incident back in 2020.

The 27-year-old, real name Megan Pete, has also alleged that Lanez even offered her $1 million to keep quiet about it.

During the second day of the trial in Los Angeles, Stallion told the court that she was 'scared'.

And while she was the alleged victim in it all, the 'WAP' singer said she wished she'd been killed in the incident, such was the backlash she received from the music industry, which she says sided with Lanez.

She told the court: "I was so scared.

"I looked back and I saw Tory with the gun and I froze. I was in shock. I’m hearing a gun go off.

"I wasn't sure if this was really happening. I looked down at my feet and they were bleeding."

Lanez has pleaded not guilty to the charge of assaulting Stallion with a semi-automatic firearm and carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle.

He also faces one charge of discharging a firearm with gross negligence, which he also denies.

If he is found guilty, he faces up to 22 years in prison for the offences.

Stallion told the court that while they were 'intimate' with one another, the pair were 'friends' and that she used to rely on him when her mum died.

On the night of the incident (12 July 2020), Stallion said they were at a pool party at Kylie Jenner's home in the Hollywood Hills.

She'd asked Lanez if they could leave in his car, but he allegedly said no and 'had an attitude'.

Stallion then claimed that 'everybody got into an argument' after Lanez accused her of lying to her friend, Kelsey Nicole Harris, who she says had a crush on Lanez.

When asked by the Deputy District Attorney if she remembered how many gun shots were fired during the incident, Stallion said she didn't 'but it felt like it went on forever'.

Stallion also claimed during her testimony that she got no support from the music industry following the shooting.

She said: "It’s not about what happened. It’s about who I had sex with. I don’t understand that. I’ve been turned into some kind of villain and he is a victim.

"Nobody [in the music industry] wants to touch me. It’s like I’m a sick bird.

"This has messed up my whole life. How could I share my body with someone who could shoot me.

"I’m embarrassed. I feel disgusted. I feel dirty. I feel like I don’t want to be on this Earth any more.

"I wish Tory had shot and killed me if I knew I was going to go through this torture."
