Kim Kardashian would be happy to give up reality TV forever if she could be a full-time lawyer

The 42-year-old begun studying law after becoming a fierce advocate for criminal justice reform.

Kim Kardashian has revealed she would give up reality TV if it meant she could be a full-time attorney.

While speaking at the TIME100 Summit earlier this week, the SKIMS founder revealed she how serious she is about pursuing law.

When asked if she would ever step away from the cameras, the reality TV star said: "I would be just as happy being an attorney full time.

"The journey just really opened up my eyes so much.

"It gets overwhelming because there's so much to be done...I brought my sister Khloé [Kardashian] to a prison for the first time last week, and that was really eye-opening for her."

The 42-year-old begun studying law after becoming a fierce advocate for criminal justice reform.

In 2018, Kim began her work by helping to release Alice Marie Johnson, who was sentenced to life in prison for nonviolent drug charges, according to CBS News.

In May of that year, Kim met with then-President Donald Trump in the Oval Office to rally for Alice to be pardoned.

"President Trump did understand once he started to hear these stories instead of just seeing their cases," Kim said of the meeting, as per TODAY.

"And he went in being so pro-death penalty and really hard on crime to opening up his heart and realizing that so many people are inside that don’t deserve to be and have completely rehabilitated themselves."

A month later, Alice was released after serving 21 years behind bars.

But the reality TV star-turned-businesswoman said that Alice's release would never have been possible if it wasn’t for her team of attorneys and activists fighting for those unfairly incarcerated.

She told TIME: “I always say this is a team effort, I tell everyone I’m the last push at the end. I’m that vessel.”

And while Kim is not officially a lawyer yet, in December, she announced that she had passed the ‘baby bar’ - a test required for students in California who were not taking the conventional path of attending an accredited law school.

“OMFGGGG I PASSED THE BABY BAR EXAM!!!!” she wrote to her 70.7 million followers on Instagram.

She added: “For anyone who doesn’t know my law school journey, know this wasn’t easy or handed to me.

"I failed this exam 3 times in 2 years, but I got back up each time and studied harder and tried again until I did it!!!"
