Kanye West returns to Instagram with Jonah Hill post after anti-Semitism ban

Kanye West is back on Instagram, this time with a post about Jonah Hill and 21 Jump Street

Kanye West made a return to Instagram with a post about Jewish people and Jonah Hill.

Obviously, West has found himself in more than enough trouble lately after making a number of antisemitic remarks online, which led to him being dropped by a load of companies, banned from a number of social media sites, and generally ostracised for his idiotic remarks.

The controversial musician is now back and posting on Instagram, this time he’s saying that Jonah Hill - the star of Superbad and 21 Jump Street - made him ‘like Jewish people again’.

Yes, this film with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum made him love Jewish people, apparently.

It’s not much better, but at least he isn’t posting things like the Star of David crossed with a swastika any longer.

Back in 2022, West - who now stylises himself as just Ye - was banned from both Twitter and Instagram for his antisemitic remarks, including when he said he was going to go ‘death con 3 [sic] on JEWISH PEOPLE’.

Now, it seems that one of Jonah Hill’s films has changed his mind, or at least spurred him onto yet another strange outburst.

Making a comeback on Instagram, West wrote: “Watching Jonah Hill in 21 Jump street made me like Jewish people again.

“No one should take anger against one or two individuals and transform that into hatred towards millions of innocent people.

“No Christian can be labelled antisemite knowing Jesus is Jew [sic].

“Thank you Jonah Hill I love you.”

During his enforced social media blackout, we haven’t heard much from West, but Instagram at the time - back in October 2022 - said that it had ‘deleted content from @kanyewest for violating our policies and placed a restriction on the account’.

He was allowed back on Twitter after Elon Musk became the CEO following his takeover, but Musk himself later said that West's account had been ‘restored by Twitter before the acquisition’ and that ‘they did not consult with or inform me’.

Musk did then have to take action against him after further comments caused scandal.

This time, it was a tweet in which he was adjudged to have incited violence.

Here's West's latest Instagram post.

At the time, Musk tweeted: “I tried my best.

“Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended.”

West has also praised Adolf Hitler in recent times, which led to further - and completely justified - criticism and condemnation.

Following that, it was reported that West had resorted to Donald Trump’s Truth Social, to confirm that he’d been banned from Twitter.

It was also reported that the rapper was going to buy social media platform Parler, but they quickly moved to scotch those rumours, releasing a statement that read: “In response to numerous media inquiries, Parlement Technologies would like to confirm that the company has mutually agreed with Ye to terminate the intent of sale of Parler.

“This decision was made in the interest of both parties in mid-November.

“Parler will continue to pursue future opportunities for growth and the evolution of the platform for our vibrant community.”

UNILAD has contacted Instagram for a comment on West's latest post.
