Kanye West storms out of interview after getting pressed on anti-Semitism

The rapper left the room without a word

Kanye West got up and walked out of an interview this week after he was pressed on the topic of anti-Semitism.

West appeared on the Timcast IRL show with host Tim Pool on Monday (28 November), one month after he lost his deal with Adidas over controversial and anti-Semitic comments he made online.

The rapper sparked a lot of backlash after saying he would be 'going death con 3 on Jewish people', among other things, so the conversation soon turned to his comments as he spoke with the host this week.

During the podcast, which also featured right-wing commentator Milo Yiannopoulos and white supremacist Nick Fuentes, West commented: "You’re not going to take my pain away. Jewish people say, it’s the Holocaust, this happened, and you can’t say anything about it. We can’t take their pain away.

"No one’s going to denounce the fact that they tried to lock me up. Because every time, I’m just holding stride, and it’s like, I thought it was more Malcolm X but I find out I’m more MLK. Because as I’m getting hosed down every day by the press and financially, I’m just standing there.

"And when I found out that they tried to put me in jail, it was like a dog was biting my arm. And I almost shed a tear. Almost. But I still walked and stride through it."

Pool responded to tell West: "I think they’ve been extremely unfair to you," prompting West to reply: "Who is they, though? We can’t say who they is, can we?"

"The corporate press," Pool responded, adding: "I don’t use the word as I guess you guys use… I’m talking about…"

Shortly before walking out, West said: "To come in here – I feel like it’s a set up to be like defending... I’m literally going to walk the f*** off the show. If I’m sitting up here having to, you know, talk about, ‘You can’t say it was Jewish people that did it'."

Host Tim Pool attempted to continue the conversation as West walked out.

Footage shared by the podcast showed the hosts watching as West stood up from his chair and left the room, and a producer of the show later claimed West, Yiannopoulos and Fuentes all left together.

The producer also claimed that West had assured he wasn't angry with Pool, but instead took issue with getting cut off while speaking on the show.

UNILAD has reached out to representatives for West for comment.
