Joseph Quinn Got Very Excited When Stranger Things Co-Star Texted Him And Doja Cat Has Competition

Doja Cat slid into Noah Schnapp’s Instagram DMs to share her crush on his co-star Joseph Quinn

It seems that Doja Cat could have some competition after Joseph Quinn got very excited when a Stranger Things co-star texted him.

The singer slid into 17-year-old Noah Schnapp’s Instagram DMs to share her crush on his co-star Quinn, who plays Eddie Munson in the latest series of the Netflix show.

Reaching out to Noah, the 26-year-old wrote: “Noah can you tell Joseph to hmu [hit me up]?” and “Wait no. Does he have a girlfriend?”

Noah then told Doja to message Quinn directly before a screenshot of the exchange with his 26 million followers on TikTok.

Doja later criticised the teenager in an Instagram live, calling the move 'borderline snake'.

While we are unaware if Doja and Quinn ever got in touch, the actor recently revealed to The Guardian a DM exchange with a co-star that got him really excited.

When asked about learning off Winona Ryder and David Harbour, he said: "Unfortunately, I didn’t have many scenes with them but I went for dinner with David and his wife [Lily Allen]. He was gracious and lovely.

"I was coming back from a party at 2am recently when I got a text which started: 'Hey it’s Winona!' I thought, 'I can’t sit on this', so I showed my flatmate.

"I know I’m in a show with her but I’m still a fan.

"Winona’s wonderful – a real example of someone who hasn’t been corrupted by Hollywood.

"She made all us new guys feel welcome."

Quinn was also asked about working with Helen Mirren and Olivia Colman, to which he said: "The two dames. I’ve been spoilt. Mosquitoes was a crazy experience.

"Working at the National with a Lucy Kirkwood script, Olivia Colman attached to it and Rufus Norris directing was a real 'pinch me' moment.

"Like everyone else in this country, I’m in love with Olivia Colman, so forming this weird family and working with her every night was a career highlight.

"She’s a force of nature. Phenomenal.

"And Helen Mirren was… well, she’s Helen f**king Mirren. She was very kind, had great advice and a filthy sense of humour, which is always great fun."

He was also asked if he would return for the fifth and final season of the show: "I’ll be furious if they don’t bring me back [laughs]. I’d love to, if they’ll have me."
