Judge Frank Caprio took to TikTok to post a heartbreaking video the day before he passed away.
The 88-year-old, who was adored by millions and known by many as 'the nicest judge in the world', died in hospital yesterday (August 20) following a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
He worked on the bench of a court in Providence, Rhode Island, for nearly four decades.

Speaking from his hospital bed on Tuesday (August 19), he pleaded with his fans to remember him in their prayers as he hoped to beat the disease.
"Last year, I asked you to pray for me. It's very obvious that you did 'cause I came through a very difficult period," Caprio said on TikTok.
"Unfortunately, I've had a setback. I'm back in the hospital. Now, I'm coming to you again asking you to remember me in your prayers once more. And so I asked you again, if it's not to much that you can remember me in your prayers.
"I'm great believer in the power of prayers. I think the Almighty above is looking over us. So remember me, please."
A TV crew inside his courtroom showed him handing down justice to many, while sparing some from the law.

In one of his viral moments, Caprio showed sympathy to a mom whose son had been killed - he scratched off her traffic tickets and fines that totalled $400.
While in another, a bartender stood in front of him facing a hefty fine for skipping a red light. Sadly, they were on less than $4 an hour and so Caprio dismissed it.
A statement announcing Caprio's death was shared on his Instagram page. It read: "Judge Frank Caprio passed away peacefully at the age of 88 after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
