Chris Pratt’s opinions on people who hate Donald Trump have sharply divided people online.
Pratt has tried to remain on the fence politically speaking, and did not endorse either cadidate during last year's presidential election.
In an op-ed prior to the vote, he wrote: "If we become too paralyzed by defeat or too pompous in victory, allegiance to our 'team' can blind us to the fact that we are fellow countrymen.
"How do we become a nation of honorable winners and graceful losers?"

However, Pratt's family connection to a key member of the Trump administration has led to him being a little more explicit in his views.
For those of you who don’t know, Pratt’s wife is Katherine Schwarzenegger, 35, and they have been married since 2019.
Her cousin is none other than RFK Jr. who has come under fire for some of his controversial policies as of late, such as discussing the possibility of putting those on the Autism Spectrum Disorder on a register, as well as his thoughts on vaccinations.
Pratt’s wife is the daughter of Maria Shriver, whose mother is Eunice Kennedy Shriver.

Eunice was a sister of Kennedy’s father, the former US Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy.

When Pratt attended Bill Maher’s Club Random podcast, the pair discussed his relationship with Donald Trump’s Health and Human Services Secretary, and that’s when he stated exactly how he feels about people who oppose Trump and his policies.
Pratt began by stating there are ‘certain things that would be good to have’ in the policies JFK Jr. advocates.

“I’ve spent a number of occasions hanging with him [in a] strictly family dinner kind of vibe,” Pratt said. “I really got along with him well and think he’s great. He’s funny, he’s wonderful. I love him.”
However, the Jurassic World star, 46, said that ‘in politics, you inherit enemies'.
The 46-year-old added: “And when you jump on the bandwagon with the most divisive president ever, it makes sense that you’re going to be made to look terrible.”
He continued. “So I don’t know what to believe. It’s not like I say to Bobby, ‘Let’s talk about this’ while we’re playing cards or having fun or having dinner.

"I’m not going to pick his brain to find out exactly which of those things are true. I just assume that none of them are? For the most part, I wish him well.
“There are certain things [that RFK Jr.] oversees that seem to be supported in a bipartisan way."

He agreed that he also believes in things ‘like getting terrible toxic stuff out of our kids’ food'.

“I think that’s a great thing. If you just do that, that’s amazing,” he said.
However, he went on to state in regards to Trump’s infamous division of the nation: “I’d hate to be so mired in hatred for the president that any success from his administration is something I’d be having an allergic reaction to.”
Pratt said: “To be like, ‘Oh, well, if they do it, I don’t want it to happen. I’ll put Clorox in my children’s cereal myself!’
"Be reasonable here. There’s certain things that would be a good thing to have. I want them all to be successful.”

The conversation was posted to Reddit, where people were divided on what to think.
One person noted: “Call me, crazy, Chris, but I’d hate to be so mired in worship for President Trump that I’d think any small success outweighs the horrific, vile, cruel policies he’s implemented, and how he’s dismantling democracy.”
Another wrote of Trump’s successes: “He ended 8 wars. Edit: Now it's 11 wars. Edit 2: 16 wars Edit 3: 87. He's ending them so quickly I can't keep up.”
Not everyone was slamming Pratt though. On Twitter, one fan wrote: "It's nice to hear a voice of reason. Applaud them on the good things they do, let them know if you disagree on the not so good things and propose an alternative solution to the problem they're trying to solve, but don't hate everything they do just because of who they are. That's silly."
