JoJo Siwa's ex, Kath Ebbs, has broken their silence after it appeared they had gotten engaged following their split from Siwa six months ago.
Siwa and Ebbs split earlier this year - reportedly at the Celebrity Big Brother wrap party - following controversy over Siwa's growing friendship with now-boyfriend, UK reality star Chris Hughes.
Following the split, Ebbs said on social media: “I feel so numbed out right now and so disorientated that I feel like the only thing I have to do to place this situation is to finally address it after two weeks of sitting back watching certain things unfold and not being able to get any clarity from the person that it involved.
"It seems to me I have experienced a version of [love bombing]. Being told I’m the love of someone’s life, being asked to marry them before this social experiment.

“Being adored throughout behind closed doors. Being hurt by what I saw but wanting to work through it and have a conversation and get clarity."

Well, it seems Siwa and Hughes aren't the only ones to be loved up, after Ebbs appeared to announce their engagement this week.
After appearing on an Instagram Live, it seemed Ebbs was engaged to Tilly Lucas-Rodd, who Ebbs had messaged on Instagram two years earlier, but never received a reply.
The couple began dating back in July, with Ebbs writing on social media: "The rumours are true! YES I still (stupidly) believe in love!!"
Tilly joked in the comments of the post: "Thanks for sliding in (sorry for making you wait 2 years)."
However, all was not as it initially appeared, with Ebbs taking to Instagram on Wednesday morning (December 3) to clarify that they and Tilly had actually been joking during their live video.
“Guys, I’m p*ssing myself,” Ebbs told their followers. “So I just woke up and last night me and Tilly – to be fair – Tilly was pranking me and clicked TikTok live."

“I don’t think I’ve ever done a TikTok live in my life. But honestly sidenote, it was so fun. We ended up on there for way too long.
“TikTok Lives, as much as I hate that app so much, I think TikTok Lives might be my pocket because it was funny.”
Ebbs then went on to address the engagement rumours specifically as they said: “Anyways, me and Tills as a joke – someone asked because we both wear rings on our wedding fingers, so we had a whole running joke that ‘yeah, we’re engaged call the Daily Mail, we’re engaged.’
“And I’ve woken up to articles saying that me and Tilly are engaged.”
Ebbs then broke out laughing before adding: “And that my friends, is how fickle the news cycle is.”
They also went on to share a number of screenshots of the video along with comments, including amusement at people presuming that it was how they would announce an engagement at all.

Hughes and Siwa confirmed their own relationship shortly after the break up, with Siwa telling The Guardian just two months later: “It's not platonic any more, and it's been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I'm absolutely head over heels for him and he's the same way.”
Meanwhile, Hughes has announced that Siwa is 'literally the love of [his] life'.
Speaking to E! News, Hughes added: "She's also my best friend. Like, we sit and do nothing together. We spend so much time with each other, just us captivated in this little world in our living room.
"But we actually went out and it didn't hit us until we got home that that was actually our first proper date. So, it was lovely."

Fans of Siwa were left concerned last month when they noticed that Hughes had referred to himself as 'single' during an appearance on Celebrity MasterChef.
"So, I live on my own. I’ve been single for three years, so it’s not like I’m cooking for anyone," the former Love Island winner explained.
"If I’m just cooking for myself, no one can appreciate it, apart from me. It’s quite sad really, isn’t it? I need someone there to show off to in the kitchen, I’ve got the judges."
Turns out, MasterChef was actually filmed before Celebrity Big Brother, despite being released much later in the year.
