Jeff Bezos Mocked After He's Pictured On Disneyland Rollercoaster On His Own

The billionaire can be seen riding solo, and people have taken the opportunity to have a pop at the Amazon founder

Jeff Bezos has been mocked after he was pictured riding solo on Disneyland's Space Mountain rollercoaster.

The Amazon founder visited the California theme park last week, and while he recently visited actual space, he clearly fancied a go on Space Mountain.

Weirdly though, it seems he went on the ride all by himself.

Watch here:

Typically, people snapped on the rollercoaster are captured side by side, screaming with excitement; but in the photo of Bezos, nobody else can be seen - and he doesn't exactly look like he's having the time of his life.

Perhaps, when you've been to the real space, space-based rollercoasters pale in comparison.

It's also not clear why there's nobody else on the ride, as he was pictured on other rollercoasters at the theme park with his girlfriend, Lauren Sanchez.

Still, the image of one of the world's richest people looking rather downbeat while riding a rollercoaster on his tod tickled people - and if you can't take the mickey out of one of the world's richest people, society ain't what it should be.

Reassuringly, plenty of folks took the opportunity to poke fun at the 58-year-old.

Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "Bezos, being able to pick any seat he wants on the rollercoaster, picks the middle."

Another said: "Literally cannot get over this. Like come on, he doesn't even look like he's actually having fun at all."

A third added: "This photo of Jeff Bezos riding Space Mountain completely alone is one of the funniest, most pathetic demonstrations of wealth I've ever seen."

Still, it's doubtful that Bezos will lose much sleep over a few disparaging tweets.

Last July, he took off from Texas, United States, on board his Blue Origin New Shepard rocket in an 11-minute flight to the edge of space.

After safely touching back down on Earth, he said: "Oh my God. My expectations were high, and they were dramatically exceeded.

"The zero Gs may have been one of the biggest surprises, because it felt so normal.

"It felt like, almost like we were as humans evolved to be in that environment, which I know is impossible, but it felt so serene and peaceful and the floating.

"It's actually much nicer than being in full one gravity."

He also thanked Amazon's employees for making it happen - though the comment didn't go down as well as he'd probably hoped.

"I want to thank every Amazon employee, and every Amazon customer because you guys paid for all this," he said.
