He said it was his 'Met Gala look' and everyone has been begging for him to delete it.

If you logged onto Instagram in the past 24 hours and follow Chris Pratt then you might have received a bit of a shock.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star decided to show off his 'Met Gala look' and posted a photo of his toe.

While that might not be much to raise an eyebrow about, when you see the toe you'll see why people were slightly put off their food.

And we'll give you a warning, it certainly wouldn't have passed Anna Wintour's Met Gala-appropriate checklist.

The close-up shot of the actor's little toe on his right foot showed the nail was looking a little worse for wear.

One person who unfortunately had to see it said: "It's not too late to delete this."

Another added: "Bro I just opened my phone."

A third wrote: "Chris Pratt’s toenail was not what I expected to see when opening insta, but I sure can’t unsee it."

Another user joked: "You need the Guardians of Podiatry."

Considering he has 43 million followers on the platform, we'll hazard a guess that many more people had the exact same feeling.

It's unclear why he thought a picture of his toe is what the world needed to see but if we had to see it then so do you.

A registered nurse in the comments section even suggested it could be a fungal infection.

His wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, remarked: "LITERALLY called 911 @footnanny and have temporarily muted this account for the sake of my well being."

Even his mother-in-law, Maria Shriver, got involved, asking: "What is this?"

While Guardians of The Galaxy director James Gunn quipped: "Lil Nas X wore it better."

It's safe to say that everyone in Chris' inner and outer circle will be begging for not more feet pictures or at least get that toenail checked out.
