Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle take turns ripping into Will Smith at stand up show

Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle have pretty much teamed up to take the p*ss out of Will Smith's infamous Oscar slap.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor decided to smack Rock across the face at this year's Academy Awards after he made a joke about his wife's shaved head - a result of alopecia.

Rock joked: "Jada, I love you. G.I. Jane 2, can’t wait to see you."

After initially smirking, Smith reacted by walking on stage and slapping the comedian right in the face.

Fast-forward to Saturday evening (3 September) at London’s O2 Arena, Rock was joined by Chappelle as the pair continued their European stand-up tour.

Rock kicked things off on stage by addressing Will Smith's apology he posted on YouTube back in July.

Smith previously said: "It’s all fuzzy. I’ve reached out to Chris and the message that came back is he’s not ready to talk and when he is, he will reach out.

"There’s no part of me that thinks that’s the optimal way to handle a feeling of disrespect or insults."

Chris hit back over the weekend, and stated: "F**k your hostage video."

He admitted 'that s**t hurt', while adding: "He played Ali. I can’t even play Floyd Mayweather."

Rock later referred to Smith as controversial hip-hop figure Suge Knight who is currently in prison with a 28-year sentence.

He continued to call the actor 'Suge Smith'.

Chappelle then took to the stage and began speaking to fans about the moment he was attacked on-stage in LA earlier this year.

"That was some scary s**t," Chappelle said.

The comedian then spoke about Rock's Oscar incident, telling him to be himself, unlike Smith, who 'did an impression of a perfect man for 30 years'.

He added: "I just hope he doesn’t put that mask back on."

Smith issued an apology to Rock on his YouTube channel.

Five months after the incident, Smith issued an apology to Rock on his YouTube channel.

He said: "Chris, I apologise to you. My behaviour was unacceptable and I'm here whenever you're ready to talk.

"I know it was confusing, I know it was shocking. But I promise you, I am deeply devoted and committed to putting light and love and joy into the world. And, you know, if you hang on, I promise we'll be able to be friends again."
