After a clip of Billie Eilish watching Cardi B at the Met Gala after party surfaced earlier this week, many people believed she was calling the rapper ‘weird’ - but not everything is as it seems, as Cardi B has since revealed.

In the viral footage, Cardi B could be seen addressing a crowd at the party, telling them from the stage: “Tonight we’re gonna have fun, make sure you guys grab a drink, make sure you have a little [raises finger to her nose].”

The clip then cuts to Cardi B performing, while Eilish watches on in the foreground of the video – at one point turning from the stage to speak to her companion in the crowd, saying something is ‘so weird’.

A caption on the post claimed Eilish was ‘not exactly feeling’ Cardi B, but it turns out the ‘Happier Than Ever’ singer was actually criticising another aspect of the performance – the fans.

Cardi B released a screen recording of a voice note conversation with Eilish after the footage circulated.

In one note, Eilish tells her friend: “Oh my God, I was so worried you were going to see that. I was f*****g call the people around you ‘weird’ because everybody was coming up to you and shoving their phones into you’re a**. And I was like, ‘Just look at her, with your eyes!’"

Pretending to cry, Cardi B then replies: “The internet’s trying to divide us! They don’t understand that you’re my baby.

She added in a message: “I hate the innanet.”

Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds also went viral for his reaction to his wife's Met Gala gown, having stood at the top of the stairs at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City and smiled as Blake Lively had her big moment in front of the world's cameras.

He couldn't wipe the smile off his face as Lively's copper dress was unfurled to show off its powder blue hues that were hiding underneath.

The moment didn't go unnoticed by others, with many tweeting to say just how moving his reaction had been.

One person wrote: "The way he looks at her."

Another added: "His smile. It’s like he is seeing her walking down the aisle for the very first time," while a third said: "That’s a man that loves his wife!! His smile."
