Ever since Brooklyn Beckham took to social media to make a handful of shocking claims about his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, the internet has been desperate to uncover the truth behind the allegations.
On Monday evening (January 19), Brooklyn's Instagram followers were left aghast when they clicked on his Stories to find a lengthy tirade against his family.
Although many were shocked to see Brooklyn talking so frankly, rumors of a rift between him and the rest of the Beckham clan had been bubbling for some time.
The fallout was pretty much confirmed when younger brother, Cruz Beckham, claimed that he and his parents had been blocked by Brooklyn on social media.

However, this week, Brooklyn took matters into his own hands by giving his side of the story online.

Among the allegations, the eldest Beckham claimed that the night before his wedding to Nicola Anne Peltz Beckham, family members told him that his wife-to-be was 'not blood' and 'not family'.
He added: "Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I've received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders."
He also spoke about the wedding itself, claiming Victoria reportedly ruined his and Nicola's first dance together.
"In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead," he claimed.
"She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life."
In another blow to Victoria, Brooklyn also claimed that his mom canceled making Nicola's wedding dress at the last minute.
"My mum cancelled making Nicola's dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress," Brooklyn said.

Following the claims, people have been reflecting on some of Brooklyn's previous girlfriends, and how they got on with Victoria.
Brooklyn dated Chloë Grace Moretz between 2014 and 2018.
Speaking to Andy Cohen about Victoria in 2014, Moretz said: “She's an amazing person. I really admire her work ethic and I love her line.
"I think that as a family, they're awesome people.
“[The Beckhams] understand the travel, the sex scenes with random people, the crazy schedules."
In a later appearance on the show, she said that the Beckhams 'genuinely are very good parents. That’s what matters most'.

Moretz did reflect on the challenges of her relationship in 2016, telling InStyle that dating a Beckham 'creates a mass frenzy and they follow you in separate cars so you can’t just run around and share little silly and cute moments'.
It seems that Moretz and Victoria did get along, with Victoria once sharing an image of Brooklyn's hair alongside a photo of Dennis the Menace.
“That hair!!! @chloegmoretz what have u done!! kisses x,” said Victoria.
On 9 April 2022, Brooklyn and Nicola got married in a lavish ceremony in front of 500 guests at her family's estate in Palm Beach, Florida, two years after getting engaged.
Just months after the wedding, media sources were starting to report on a 'full-on cold war' between Nicola and her new mum-in-law.
According to Page Six, 'the build-up to the wedding was horrendous' and they 'can’t stand each other and don’t talk'.
Reports also claimed much of the feud came from Nicola's decision to wear a Valentino wedding dress instead of a piece designed by Victoria's fashion house, but they appeared to quash these rumours.
In March 2023, the Beckhams seemed to be happier than ever and were posing for photos at Victoria's Paris fashion show.
Two years on, it was reported that Brooklyn and Nicola had snubbed David's 50th birthday party at Cipriani Downtown Miami.
And then, just days later, TMZ claimed that Brooklyn and brother Romeo weren't speaking due to a fallout over Romeo's girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, who had a 'romantic connection' with Brooklyn 'several years ago'.
Cruz later insisted that Brooklyn and Kim had never actually dated, and in May of 2025, Brooklyn and Nicola were nowhere to be seen as the birthday celebrations for David continued.
In July 2025, Brooklyn and Nicola unfollowed Romeo and Cruz and vice versa.
The following month, David and Victoria are reported not to have attended the Peltz-Beckham vow renewals.
And by December that year, it was reported that Brooklyn no longer followed his parents, and they no longer followed him, and the youngest brother was quick to set the record straight.
Cruz wrote on his Instagram Stories about the claims that he and his family had unfollowed Brooklyn: "NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son … Let's get the facts right. They woke up blocked … as did I."
In January 2026, it was claimed that Brooklyn sent a legal letter to his parents, insisting they only contact him via his lawyer; a rule which Victoria is believed to have broken when she 'liked' an Instagram post he made about a roast chicken.
In a shock statement posted on his Instagram Stories on 19 January, Brooklyn made some bombshell claims about his family, which included how his parents have tried to 'ruin' his relationship with Nicola, have always 'controlled' his life, and how 'Brand Beckham' comes first before anything else.
