Fans were left in disbelief as Adele almost burst into tears after recognizing someone she hadn’t seen in years at her show.
Adele’s performance was briefly interrupted when someone caught her eye in an incredibly wholesome moment.
The star was performing When We Were Young on December 21 during her Weekends with Adele residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace when she had to stop.
Thankfully it wasn’t for a bad reason but a rather sweet one.

The singer had recognised a doctor she had previously seen over a decade ago.
Adele had spotted the doctor who had delivered her son way back in 2012.
In a clip that has since been doing the rounds on social media, she said: “Oh my God, Colin.” before walking up to the audience.
She explained to the crowd: “Oh my God. This is my doctor that gave birth to my baby. I haven't seen you in years."
The singer began to get a little choked up and even asked the crowd if they would sing the song for her.
People on social media couldn’t get enough of this moment with many noting how sweet of a chance encounter.
One fan wrote: “Adele's heartfelt hug to the doctor who delivered her baby is a beautiful reminder of the connections that shape our lives.”
Another commented: “She's seemed truly grateful and what a great wholesome moment.”

Other people joked about the wild moments that happen at Adele’s shows.
One Twitter user joked: “Adele’s show seems like the perfect place to reconnect with a long-lost loved one—like your deadbeat dad or estranged uncle or cousin. Every clip from her shows is always like, 'OMG! I haven’t seen you in years!'
Another joked: “Adele's shows are so wild that I swear someone meets their long-lost twin every time I see a video.”
Adele welcomed her son Angelo back in October 2012 and shares him with charity executive Simon Konecki. The pair are no longer together and split up back in 2019.
The singer has previously commented about wanting another baby and as recent as August she said as much while at another one of her residency gigs.
"I really want to be a mom again soon," Adele told the crowd after an audience member asked her for help choosing a baby name.
