‘Pharma Bro’ claims he lost $450,000 in crypto after downloading porn file called ‘BigT*tsRoundA**es’

Martin Shkreli has come out with an extremely odd defence as to why his cryptocurrency Martin Shkreli Inu took a massive crash.

Convicted felon Martin Shkreli who goes by the nickname ‘Pharma Bro’ has claimed a virus obtained from downloading porn resulted in a $450,000 pump and dump of his crypto token.

The former hedge fund manager has come out with an extremely odd defence as to why his cryptocurrency Martin Shkreli Inu (bet it took ages to think of that one) took a massive crash following a dump linked to his wallet.

The crypto token plunged by over 90 per cent after the wallet account dubbed 0xshkreli.eth offloaded 239 ETH, which is approximately $450,000, according to Web3isgoinggreat

But there had to be some sort of logical explanation for this mishap.

Shkreli found that logical explanation after YouTuber SomeOrdinaryGamers called him out for the dump.

‘Pharma Bro’ offered up his side of the story and it's very left-field.

Shkreli had been cooped up in prison for seven years that as soon as he was released he did what any inmate would do: he downloaded a whole heap of porn.

Only in his haste, apparently Shkreli didn’t double check the file titled ‘BigT**sRoundA**es’, which ended up being a .zip file instead of an .mp4.

It is through this very easy and common mistake that Shkreli claims a hacker group was able to gain remote access to his personal information, including the keys to his crypto wallets.

No one downloads porn anymore do they?

Unfortunately for the 39-year-old, he doesn’t hold a whole lot of credibility when it comes to financial projects.

The American has been convicted of two counts of securities fraud relating to pharmaceutical company Retrophin and two hedge funds.

According to The New York Times, the jury found that he lied to investors about how the funds were managed, what they invested in and how much money they had.

Shkreli is also the guy that notoriously got banned from the pharmaceutical industry after he obtained a license to distribute live-saving drug Daraprim and then hiked the price from $13.50 a pill to $750 per pill.

Hence the name ‘Pharma Bro’.

So while you don’t want anyone to lose out on a tonne of money, anyone that did invest in a crypto project that literally has ‘Martin Shkreli’ in the name surely had to see this one coming.

It’s a bold tactic by Shkreli considering he literally just got out of jail, so maybe he really was just mislead by some ‘BigT**sRoundA**es’.
