It's becoming increasingly more known that Cybertrucks seemingly aren't made for colder climes.

Cybertrucks have been the talk of the motoring industry since the electric vehicle's initial release back in November 2023.

Elon Musk, Tesla's CEO, had long teased the supposedly bulletproof truck in the years leading up to its debut. Drivers patiently waited some years before being able to get their hands on one, with Tesla accepting reservations for the large EV four years before the first deliveries were made.

Whether the cars were worth the wait is still up for debate, however.

Many Cybertruck owners have faced issues with the expensive trucks - in particular those who live in snowy and cold places.

For example, one Tesla driver found a 'major flaw' in the EVs design when he discovered that his headlights weren't visible because of snow building up in front of them.

Now, another Cybertruck owner has faced snow-related issues.

In footage taken in Montreal, Canada, someone videoed the moment a Cybertruck driver struggled to move their large vehicle as the wheels simply spun in the snow.

Meanwhile, other vehicles drove past the struggling truck.

The video was taken on February 16 but has only just been shared to TikTok, where it's amassed 2.7 million views in just 24 hours.

People have since shared their thoughts on the situation, and seemed to have little sympathy for the Tesla owner.

"Imagine spending 100k for a truck that can't handle a little snow," one person said.

Someone else insisted: "If you can't drive a truck in the snow, it's not a truck."

Dozens of others claimed their older vehicles could handle the weather conditions seen in the viral clip with no issue.

One wrote: "My $35,000 Subaru Forester can handle that no problem."

"My Toyota Avalon has terrible tires and does better than this," a second person penned.

A third added: "I've been driving my 2017 Rav 4 all weekend... didn't get [stuck] once lol."

However, it should be noted that on the Tesla website its advised that you purchase winter tires for your vehicle if you live in areas that get particularly snowy or icy.

It's unclear what tires the Cybertruck in the viral clip has.

"Use winter tires to increase traction in snowy or icy conditions. You can purchase winter tires on the Tesla Shop," the Tesla website states.

"Tire chains provide additional traction when driving in snowy or icy conditions. Check local regulations to determine if tire chains are recommended or required during winter months."

UNILAD has approached Tesla for comment.
