This week, the online retailer spilled what people have been quizzing Alexa on this year, from general knowledge and celebrity intel to music requests.

Sitting in kitchens and lounges across the country, thousands of us rely on Amazon's famous AI assistant for everyday tasks, whether that's lining up a playlist, setting timers or turning the heating up.

What were Alexa's most asked questions of 2025?

One of the biggest questions on everyone's lips this year? Apparently, Brits were particularly frazzled in the kitchen, with many asking: 'How long do I poach an egg for?'

Meanwhile, other belters include: 'What's the diameter of the earth?', How many moons does Jupiter have?' and 'Is a tomato a fruit or vegetable?'

The most ironic of them all? Thousands of us dared to ask Alexa: 'What does AI mean?'

General knowledge aside, people were particularly nosey about celebrities, from their height and net worth to spouses. The most asked about A-listers include Cristiano Ronaldo, Taylor Swift, Tom Cruise, and Ed Sheeran.

As for the most requested songs? Chappell Roan's Pink Pony Club, APT by Rosé and Bruno Mars, and Golden from KPop Demon Hunters reigned supreme.
