Grand Theft Auto fans think they may have worked out when GTA 6 will hit shelves.
After over a decade on from GTA 5's release, gamers have been eagerly awaiting the release of the sixth edition of the game - but they may have to wait a bit longer yet.
Rockstar Games recently gave fans a glimmer of hope as the developer confirmed that the trailer for GTA 6 will drop next month.

"Next month marks the 25th anniversary of Rockstar Games. Thanks to the incredible support of our players worldwide, we have had the opportunity to create games we are truly passionate about," Rockstar's president Sam Houser penned in a tweet earlier this week.
"Without you, none of this would be possible, and we are so grateful to all of you for sharing this journey with us.
"In 1998, Rockstar Games was founded on the idea that video games could come to be as essential to culture as any other form of entertainment, and we hope that we have created games you love in our efforts to be part of that evolution."
Confirming that it will be released in 'early December', Houser added: "We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you."
While some have been hanging on to hope that the video game will come out soon after the trailer, others have noted that there was quite a wait between the trailer for GTA 5 and its official release.
In fact, GTA 5 came out a whopping 22 months after the trailer's release - so you'd best sit tight, gamers.
"Just a reminder that GTA V came out TWENTY-TWO MONTHS after its 1st trailer dropped," someone penned on X.
"Considering the trailer is dropping December this year, there is no way GTA 6 is coming in 2024, trailer for GTA V was released in 2011 and the game in 2013... alls I’m sayin [sic]," said a second.
Someone else pointed out: "GTA V trailer came out in 2011. The game was released in 2013 TEN YEARS ago.
"All this excitement over a trailer announcement today. Imagine when the game actually comes out."
Another person went on: "Nov 2nd 2011 was the date of the first GTA 5 trailer. The game then came out 17th Sep 2013."
"Hope GTA 6 isn't an almost 2 year gap from first trailer to release day," they added.
Whether it's two years or two months, it'll be worth the wait.
