Hidden meaning behind Beats logo is ridiculously obvious once you see it

Many of us have been looking at it wrong this whole time

Beats is one of the world's most popular audio brands in the world, so you'd think by now we'd know what its logo means.

The company, first launched back in 2006 by Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine, has continued to enjoy success with its range of consumer headphones, earphones and speakers.

As for the logo, it appears at a first glance to be a very simple design. The 'b' stands for Beats, right?

Well, yes, it does.

But it turns out there's also a very subtle message hidden in that image that has gone unnoticed for years.

This all changed when digital marketing agency Raising Sails pointed out the real meaning in a TikTok video.

The short but insightful clip demonstrates that the lower-case 'b' is supposed to resemble a person wearing a pair of headphones.

And if you still can't see it, @raisingsails also photoshopped an eye and a mouth onto the logo, allowing us to see more clearly the side profile of the Beats wearer.

Once you’ve noticed it, it’s hard to see anything else, am I right?

The hidden meaning has been pointed out a few times over the years, and it always comes as a surprise to a number of people – even if they’ve been wearing the headphones for ages.

One wrote on Twitter: "I never liked the Beats logo until I realized it’s a head wearing headphones. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it."

Another said: "I was today years old when I realised the Beats logo was a red head wearing a pair of headphones."

"It has literally just dawned on me that the beats by Dre logo is a head wearing headphones and my mind is BLOWN," added a third.

The same can be said for Amazon's logo, which consists of the name in a simple font alongside the signature orange arrow.

Once you see it...

While most people assume the arrow under represents a smile, it's actually pointing from 'a' to 'z', highlighting that Amazon sells everything you could need.

Just like the Beats logo, plenty of people are only just discovering the truth behind the design, with one writing: "I just realised the arrow under the amazon logo indicates a to z I feel f**king stupid."

Another said: "Tell me why i just realized why the amazon logo has an arrow pointing from a to z… cos they deliver from point a to z oh my goshhhh."
