New footage released of XXXTentacion withdrawing $50k from bank moments before he was killed

XXXTentacion fans have been left devastated by newly released footage showing the rapper withdrawing money moments before he was murdered.

XXXTentacion - real name Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy - was killed on 18 June, 2018 during what police have called an attempted robbery.

The American rapper was shot multiple times in the neck while outside RIVA Motorsports, in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

CCTV footage showed two masked men cornering the 20-year-old. The two men and a third are now currently standing trial for first-degree murder.

Upon viewing the newly released footage, fans of the rapper have flooded to social media to commiserate, but also continue to commemorate him.

One said: "Never seen this footage before. It’s so healing to see the smile on his face and his aura just heartwrenching knowing what follows. REST IN PEACE XXX."

"Handsome boy. He seemed deep in thought, wandering but content. His energy is truly unmatched. We miss you," another wrote.

A third commented: "We all miss you Jahseh Onfroy, I can't even watch this all the way through but I know he tried to get his life straight and fix all of his mistakes that he did, he will be missed R.I.P."

A final said: "It's unfortunate seeing the last moments of this young man's life unfold; RIP, my brother; I hope your killers get the justice they deserve!"

Five years after his death and the trial for the murder of XXXTentacion is finally taking place, having started yesterday (7 February).

Michael Boatwright and Trayvon Newsome have been accused of being the two men on the CCTV footage, with Boatwright accused of pulling the trigger on the rapper. Newsome and another man named Dedrick Williams are alleged accomplices.

All three will stand trial for first-degree murder and if convicted of the charge, could all face life sentences.

Boatwright, Williams and Newsome have also all been charged with armed robbery, to which they've all pleaded not guilty.

A fourth man, 26-year-old Robert Allen, entered a plea deal, pleading guilty to second-degree murder and robbery with a firearm. He is expected to testify against the other three during the trial.

During the first day of the trial yesterday, as per Local10, prosecutor Pascale Achille accused Boatwright of having shot the rapper 'without any provocation'.

Leonard Kerr, XXXTentacion's friend who was with him at the time of the shooting, also gave his account of events.
