As fears of World War 3 starting have mounted as tensions around the world continue to grow, and if it happens, you won’t want to get caught in these locations.
In recent news, President Donald Trump has been vowing to take control of Greenland and has threatened to implement tariffs on those who'd oppose a takeover.
The US military also captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, who has since received four charges in connection with alleged narcotic trafficking.
Not only that, but Iran has issued a warning to the US if the country attempts to get involved in the mass protests happening, even issuing an assassination threat towards Trump on state TV.

Meanwhile, over in Europe, a NATO chief has urged the continent to be 'prepared for war' if Russia ever decides to attack, amidst its war with Ukraine.
So, it’s no surprise that people might be a little worried right now that there is a real danger of WWIII happening.

USA
Well, this one is pretty obvious. If the USA is going to be a key player in the conflict, you’re going to want to be as far away from oncoming retaliation.

In light of its holding off military action against Iran, all that needs to happen is for other big-name players with large military capabilities, and US sites could be targeted globally.
An expert even said that 15 US cities in particular would be likely targeted in the event of war.
Israel
Israel has been involved in a long-term conflict with Palestine, and after it was under attack from Iranian missiles, tensions in the Middle East only grew.
Iran
Iran has been dishing out missiles and taking them too.

Having been bombed by the US after it was alleged to be creating nuclear materials, and then sending Israel its own set of bombs in a retaliation strike, Iran doesn’t feel like a safe place to hide during WW3.
Russia
Russia has been busy with its war on Ukraine for six years now, and considering its threats against the West, NATO and the UK, it seems like a volatile choice for safety.

Russian President Vladimir Putin recently warned European nations that if Europe were to start a war with Russia, Moscow would be prepared, per Reuters.
"If Europe suddenly wants to start a war with us and starts it," Putin said, adding: "Then it would end so swiftly for Europe that Russia would have no one left to negotiate with."
Taiwan
Taiwan is a disputed location, which has seen China threaten to take it over. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has made it clear that it wants to 'reunify' the two countries, with President Xi Jinping saying in 2021 that China and Taiwan's 'reunification' must happen (via the BBC).

In his New Year's speech, President Xi again expressed the importance of this, saying: "The reunification of our motherland, a trend of the times, is unstoppable."
However, Taiwan has expressed its mission to remain independent, especially following Chinese military drills occurring around the island earlier this month (via Reuters).
So, if war breaks out, China may attempt to take it once and for all, and there might be retaliation if that happens.
North Korea
North Korea has been allied with Russia for several years and has flexed its missile capabilities by firing them around the world. So, maybe you should steer clear if war breaks out.

As for whether it will happen, Professor Alex Wellerstein of Stevens Institute of Technology previously shared his thoughts on the possibility of war.
Speaking to the Daily Mail last year, he said: "If the adversary is Russia and their goal is to disable US retaliation, command centers and ICBM sites will be hit first. If the attacker is a rogue actor, symbolic or densely populated areas might be targeted instead."
