Footage from an experience designed to create 'the unbreakable man' showing a man 'overcoming his fear and asserting his power' has left social media users gobsmacked.

A video from 'The Unbreakable Man Experience' has been shared on Instagram.

The 'experience'? Well, it's a 'three-day immersive experience for men ready to activate their highest potential', with the latest event having just taken place in Austin, Texas.

The tagline reads: "Reclaim Your Authentic Self. Lead Your Life. Become the Man You Were Born to Be."

What is 'The Unbreakable Man Experience'?

Dr Dave Cohodes and Unbreakable Man took to Instagram in a collaborative post in January 2024 to share a video of 'an example of a man overcoming his fear and asserting his power'.

The video shows a man running forward screaming 'I am a man' - over and over again, until he eventually breaks down.

The clip continues: "He is over run with emotion because he allowed himself to let go and assert himself. When a man taps into his power, a grieving process happens. This is a natural release of the old self."

The caption further details what the exercise - dubbed 'calling men forward' - hopes to achieve.

What the exercise seeks to achieve

The exercise is stated to channel men to 'move through their inner resistance' and 'lead' alongside be more 'emotionally intelligent' and 'get results because they aren't afraid to do what it necessary' alongside being 'purpose driven'.

"We need more men to breakthrough their inner resistance and lead the world from their heart." the caption continues.

The post further claims the participant in the exercise 'who was afraid to move forward in life' was able to 'break through that' by taking part in the experience.

"He tapped into a deep well of power and unleashed it," it says. "When he did this, what came through was a sensation of grief at the end. This is a natural release process for any man unlocking their power."

And it's not taken long for social media users to weigh in.

One user wrote: "What the actual F is this," while another added: "The first two times he said 'Move forward' sounded like a PS2 video game tutorial segment."

A third questioned: "Ppl pay to do this?"

But what else does the experience actually consist of?

What does the 'The Unbreakable Man Experience' entail?

Its website details the experience as a 'modern day rite-of passage' which is 'designed to challenge and support you physically, mentally, and emotionally', with the experience costing either a single payment of $2,497 or 3 payments of $847.

It explains: "You will be guided through the IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES to breakthrough mindsets, overcoming inner resistance, and command your life.

"This is a complete retreat away from the pressures of the world, allowing you to dive deep into yourself so you can uncover who you are, your soul mission, and reclaim your authentic self."

Day one consists of a focus on 'clarity' - seeing those involved 'tap into the deep parts of [their] Masculine Power' and become 'more productive, confident and magnetic' by forming a 'clearly guided road map to build the business, relationships and body you want'.

Day two will see men 'face the resistance holding [them] back,' alongside 'reprogram [their] subconscious mind' and 'release the past'.
