A teenager who was supposed to fly to meet her boyfriend has not been heard for ten days.
Pheobe Bishop, 17, was last seen leaving her home in Gin Gin, Queensland, Australia, on May 15. At the time, she was supposed to have boarded the 8:30 a.m. flight to Brisbane, which would then go on to Perth so that she could reportedly meet up with her long-distance boyfriend.
However, CCTV footage emerged showing that she never entered the terminal. Her missing person's information said she was last seen 'carrying luggage' and 'wearing a green tank top and grey sweatpants'.

According to The Independent, Pheobe was driven to the airport by her housemates, and one of her family members said that she'd never checked in for her flight.
They added: "Her phone has been switched off from this point. She hasn't contacted anyone at all, no one has seen her."

On Friday (May 23), the police revealed that an item of interest had also been found inside a national park. They admitted to having seized a grey Hyundai ix35 during their investigation into the case, and they've also declared the car an 'active crime scene'.

The Good Night Scrub National Park is just one hour from where Phoebe was last seen, and cadaver dogs were deployed to search the area.
ABC Australia also reports that her home was declared a crime scene.
Detective Acting Inspector Ryan Thompson said (via The Mirror): "Police are trying to nail down the timeline to where this vehicle has gone. We do have associates that are assisting police with our inquiries at the moment, and this is why we're trying to narrow down that timeline in relation to where Pheobe could be."
According to The Independent, forensic police officers have also located some items in brown bags; however, it is not clear how they may be connected to her disappearance.

The teenager's mother, Kylie Johnson, has also spoken out about the ordeal, explaining that her daughter's disappearance is 'out of character'.

She said: "Pheobe would never not touch base with the people she loves. She would never go this long without contacting someone or anyone.
"We are appealing to anyone who may have heard from Phoebe, or anyone who has information about where she may be, to please contact police."

Her mother further described her as a 'sunflower in a field full of wildflowers', adding that she was 'praying' for her daughter's safe return.
"Our lives and existence is nothing without you in our lives,” she said. "We just need to know where you are and if your safe."
