A nun has revealed what her life is like withholding from sex for more than three decades.
Sister Gabriel, a Poor Clare Franciscan Nun from Arundel, England, has been a nun for 30 years.
Her life as a cloistered nun requires her to live in a particular place for the rest of her days, praying, working and 'hopefully' dying there too, as the Sister says it's all about enjoying the 'fullness of life in that place'.

However, prior to entering the monastery, she worked as an engineer, having studied aeronautical and mechanical engineering, and she's no stranger to a drink, either.
Speaking to LadBible Stories, the Sister said nuns 'certainly' drink alcohol, adding her personal favorite tipple is a 'bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale'.
Well, clearly, Sister Gabriel led a different life before devoting herself entirely to God, which has many wondering if it's been hard to be celibate for all this time.
When asked the question via the Honesty Box, she confessed 'it can be hard' to abstain from sex from time to time.

She explained: "I think at different moments in my life, it's been more difficult than at other times, but I think my capacity to love just grows and grows and grows and it's expressed in a different way.
"But it can be challenging."
Sister Gabriel also appeared slightly hesitant to answer if she had any celebrity crushes.

"I love, on my holiday, to watch a great film," she said. "And sometimes, the beauty of a film, the beauty of the characters and the story and sometimes the actors that are playing the parts, I can just really, really, enjoy, if that's what having a crush is."
In an example, Sister Gabriel continued: "I'm just thinking at this moment of a film I saw a couple of months ago, that I've actually, which is very unusual for me, I have now watched twice is A Star is Born and it's got Lady Gaga in it and... Bradley Cooper.

"So, could I have a celebrity crush on Bradley Cooper?", she pondered. "Well, his eyes are certainly ones that I could stare into, but it's a great film. It's a true story, had a sad ending, but it's a fabulous film.

"Great eyes," she giggled.
Moving onto more serious topics, Sister Gabriel valiantly tackled what she said is a 'really important question' about how she feels about the allegations of corruption and abuse within the Catholic Church.
"Well, I'm ashamed of that," she started, "and I am sorry for that and I am deeply saddened by that and I really pray for the people who have been abused by people in the Catholic Church and I hope that they, if they haven't done so far, are listened to and cared for."
