French President Emmanuel Macron is set to present 'scientific evidence' to a US court to prove his wife is a biological woman.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, had filed a lawsuit against right-wing commentator Candace Owens over a 'humiliating' conspiracy theory.
One of the more outlandish claims noted in the suit is that Owens said Brigitte was born male under the name Jean-Michel Trogneux, and that she stole the identity of a woman.
According to the Financial Times, Owens suggested that Macron and his wife are 'blood relatives', while Owens is said to have claimed the French leader is a product of a CIA human experiment or ‘government mind control programme’.

The lawsuit states Owen's 'lies have caused tremendous damage to the Macrons' and caused a 'campaign of global humiliation, turning their lives into fodder for profit-driven lies'.

The podcaster's lawyers have since responded to the suit with a motion to dismiss the claim.
Tom Clare, the Macrons' lawyer, said the couple have found recent events 'incredibly upsetting'.

"I don't want to suggest that it somehow has thrown him off his game," he told the BBC. "But just like anybody who is juggling a career and a family life as well, when your family is under attack, it wears on you.
"And he's not immune from that because he's the president of a country."
Clare went on to say the Macrons are prepared to demonstrate 'both generically and specifically' the allegations made by Owens are untrue.
The lawyer added: "It is incredibly upsetting to think that you have to go and subject yourself, to put this type of proof forward. It is a process that she will have to subject herself to in a very public way.

"But she's willing to do it. She is firmly resolved to do what it takes to set the record straight.
"If that unpleasantness and that discomfort that she has of opening herself up in that way is what it takes to set a record straight and stop this, she's 100% ready to meet that burden."
In the lawsuit filed against Owens, the Macrons went on to say the podcaster's comments have 'dissected their appearance, their marriage, their friends, their family, and their personal history', which has led to 'relentless bullying' from people across the globe.

"Every time the Macrons leave their home, they do so knowing that countless people have heard, and many believe, these vile fabrications. It is invasive, dehumanizing, and deeply unjust," the lawsuit continued.
UNILAD has reached out to Owens' representatives for comment.
