A body language expert has spoken about the moment that President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump met with Prince William and Kate Middleton.

On Tuesday evening (September 16), Trump and Melania touched down at London's Stansted Airport for their two-day state visit.

They stayed at Winfield House in Regent's Park before traveling to Windsor Castle for a jam-packed day of events followed by a state banquet on Wednesday evening (September 17).

As Trump and the First Lady arrived at Windsor Castle on Wednesday, they were greeted by the Prince and Princess of Wales as they stepped off Marine One.

They then walked across the grounds of Windsor Castle where King Charles and the Queen were ready to welcome them to the royal residence.

As the group became acquainted, Kate, Camilla and Melania could be seen in conversation.

But it was one moment in particular in which Melania appeared to be rather 'tense'.

Body language expert and celebrity psychic Inbaal Honigman told UNILAD: "There’s a photo of Melania from the back talking with Princess Catherine and Camilla is in between them - it’s a fabulous picture.

"As the ladies assemble for a chat, the most comfortable of the three appears to be Queen Camilla because her feet are placed slightly apart whereas both Catherine and Melania’s feet are close together.

"When somebody stands with their feet apart, it means they’re happy to take up extra space and means they are content. Their hands tell the rest of the story.

"Even though their facial expressions are similar across the board, with both Kate, Camilla and Melania all flashing neutral, calm smiles, their hands are very different.

"Kate’s hands are in front of her, in a way that could be seen as slightly protective, but her fingers are widely splayed. This shows she feels at ease in the situation."

Inbaal, who spoke on behalf of OLBG, added: "However, Melania’s hand is noticeably tight into her fist - that shows she may feel like a fish out of water, a bit tense in that conversation."

The POTUS and First Lady have a busy schedule while they are in the UK, but the president has already been accused of 'breaking protocol' after meeting with the King.

During one viral moment, Trump could be seen marching ahead of the King, aimlessly chatting to one of the guards.

However, it is royal etiquette for people to walk behind King Charles. In the Royal Family specifically, they walk behind the King according to their rank and the order of succession.

Trump and Melania are in the UK until Thursday evening (September 18), during which time they'll have no public-facing engagements as security remains paramount for the president.
