Imagine buying a house only to find a hidden safe which looks like something out of of a horror movie.

If you've seen psychological thriller Split starring James McAvoy - or multiple other horrors for that matter - you'll know that any secret sort of passage, room or locked cupboard which is big enough to fit a human is never a good thing.

So when a TikToker discovered a huge locked safe, she decided to call the police in fear of what she may find inside.

TikToker Tiffany Ma from LA took to her page to reveal she bought a house at auction with her partner with plans to do it up and turn it into a profitable home.

However, upon heading into the house, they soon came across a 4,000lb safe.

Unable to get in despite prising at it with various tools, she hired a contractor to drill into the safe and get it open.

And when she discovered what was inside, Tiffany made the swift decision to call the police.

In the footage, Tiffany says it took 'hours' to open the safe and what they found inside was 'insane'.

"We found some heirlooms like an engagement ring, a bunch of photos that could definitely be used as blackmail." she said.

"A ton of rare bills and old coins that are probably worth more than a Birkin and even a WW2 dagger that was for the bad guys [Nazis] [...] But honestly the craziest thing we found I'm not even allowed to tell you guys because we had to get the police involved."

Oh, and they also found a photo album which had a lock of hair inside it too - but that was in the garage, not the safe.

Tiffany asked followers to guess what she found and said she'd like the comment with the closest guess, and naturally, it didn't take long for TikTokers to rain in.

One user said: "Judging by the uniform pictures and the dagger, I'm guessing it's a gun. Whoever lived there was probably former military."

"I'm assuming something illegal," another wrote.

A third commented: "Grenades? In my dads house they had undetonated grenades in the basement from when grandpas served."

"A fourth said: "They most likely found a gun."

Alas, Tiffany's like can't be found, although she teased: "Okay y'all are soo soo close to guessing what it is."

So, what do you think it was?
