On Tuesday (February 24), President Donald Trump delivered a lengthy State of the Union speech to Congress and millions of American viewers.

"It's going to be a long speech, because we have so much to talk about," Trump had previously said.

And he wasn't wrong, with the speech lasting one hour and 47 minutes in total, beating Trump's previous record of one hour and 39 minutes.

Trump addressed politicians in the US Capitol's House of Representatives chamber for the annual speech, which, held every January or February, sees the President set out his agenda and highlight his achievements of the past year.

During one emotional moment, Erika Kirk - who is the widow of the late political activist Charlie Kirk - mouthed three words.

The moment came as Trump honored the Turning Point USA founder, telling the audience: "I'm very proud to say that during my time in office, both the first four years and in particular this last year, there has been a tremendous renewal in religion, faith, Christianity, and belief in God...And a big part of that had to do with my great friend Charlie Kirk.

"So last year, Charlie was violently murdered by an assassin and martyred for his beliefs. His wonderful wife Erika is with us tonight."

As the audience rose for a standing ovation, Erika could be seen mouthing what viewers believe was 'I miss you'.

One person wrote on X: "Seeing Erika Kirk mouth 'I miss you' is heartbreaking."

While another added: "I'm not a lip reader, but it appears that Erika says: 'I miss you.' after standing up. You can see her struggling to keep her composure when hearing Charlie's name."

Trump then added: “You’ve been through a lot.”

The president also said that in Kirk's memory 'we must all come together to reaffirm that we are one nation under God...and we must totally reject political violence of any kind.'

Kirk was shot and killed while he was speaking publicly at a Utah Valley University event on September 10.

Tyler Robinson was arrested and has since been charged with a slew of crimes, including aggravated murder.

Also during the State of the Union address, a lip reader is convinced he's decoded a strange exchange between half-siblings Ivanka and Barron Trump

Ivanka, 44, is the daughter of Trump and his first wife Ivana, while Barron's mother is Trump's third wife Melania.

Lip reader Jeremy Freeman told the Mirror that Ivanka asked the 19-year-old during the event: "What are you doing on...?"

Frustratingly, he's unable to decipher the next word she said.

Barron allegedly responded: "I'm not sure, I couldn't be a***d."

What they were talking about remains a mystery, but it came as Trump delivered a very long and controversial State of the Union address.

Trump claimed: "In 12 months, I secured commitments for more than $18 trillion pouring in from all over the globe."

The White House's own website said there has been $9.7 trillion generated in major investment announcements.

Trump claimed tariffs are 'paid for by foreign countries'.

The tariffs are paid by US companies importing goods into the country, who often pass the costs onto consumers.

Trump called the One Big Beautiful Bill 'the largest tax cut in American history'.

According to non-partisan non-profit the Tax Foundation, it's the sixth largest

Trump claimed Decarlos Brown Jr., the man accused of murdering Iryna Zarutska on a train in Charlotte, North Carolina, came into the country through 'open borders'.

According to The Charlotte Observer, Declaros Brown Jr. appears to have been born in Charlotte.
