RFK Jr. reveals unusual reason he wears jeans to the gym following viral video

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth worked out inside the Pentagon for new get-fit initiative

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has revealed the bizarre reason he wears jeans at the gym after a clip of him working out went viral.

The health secretary was pictured wearing denim trousers while executing some chin-ups and push-ups at a facility inside the Pentagon, in Arlington, Virginia - directly across the Potomac River from Washington DC.

It was part of the Trump administration's 'Make America Healthy Again' initiative, with the 'Pete and Bobby Challenge' saw Department of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth action 100 push-ups and 50 pull-ups in 10 minutes, alongside RFK Jr.

After taking part in it, RFK Jr. uploaded it to Twitter - leaving people absolutely baffled.

His post read: "I teamed up with @SecDef Hegseth for the 'Pete & Bobby Challenge' — 50 pull-ups, 100 push-ups. This is the start of a nationwide push to get Americans fit again. We’re calling on our friend @SecDuffy to take the challenge."

One user asked: "Why is RFK Jr doing pull-ups and push-ups in jeans?"

Another commented: "RFK, Jr. working out in jeans and a belt is absolutely diabolical."

With a third adding: "Do you think RFK has workout jeans and casual jeans. Or he just freeballs and takes his musk with him everywhere."

Well, fortunately Fox News' Jesse Watters posed the question to him.

The host of Jesse Watters Primetime asked: "Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is here. Mr Secretary, thank you so much for joining us. Before we get started, I have to ask a question that everybody is wondering about. Why do you wear jeans when you workout?"

RFK Jr. replied: "Well I just started doing that a long time ago because I would go hiking in the morning and then go straight to the gym and I found it was convenient, and now I'm used to it so I just do it."

Yes, incredibly the 71-year-old genuinely believes it is convenient to stay in jeans for a workout rather than change into active-wear.

But what is possibly even more diabolical is Watters' response.

"Okay. There are a lot of theories but that makes perfect sense," the host replied.

PERFECT SENSE, have you lost your mind? There's surely nothing more criminal than wearing jeans in a gym!

Anyway, the health secretary carried out a multitude of workouts while donning hiking boots and jeans - and managed to even put Hegseth to shame as the defense secretary struggled while attempting chin-ups.
