Donald Trump is deploying 'all resources' to get missing Nancy Guthrie home safely, the President has said in a new update.

The mom of TODAY co-anchor Savannah Guthrie was reported missing on Sunday (February 1) after failing to show up to church that morning.

The 84-year-old was last seen at her home in the Catalina Foothills, Tucson, Arizona, on Saturday evening (January 31).

The Pima County Sheriff's Office said she had disappeared in 'concerning circumstances' and later confirmed they believed she had been abducted.

Her home is being treated as an ‘active crime scene,' while Sheriff Chris Nanos told reporters she 'didn't willingly' leave the premises.

Reports of alleged ransom notes have cropped up, with TMZ and CBS affiliate KOLD-TV reportedly receiving notes demanding Bitcoin for Nancy's safe return on Tuesday (February 3).

The Sheriff's County confirmed it is investigating the notes and that no suspect or person of interest has been identified yet.

The worrying case has captured international attention, and as the search for Nancy enters its fifth day, President Trump has stepped in to help.

Taking to Truth Social on Thursday morning (February 5), Trump confirmed he had spoken to Savannah and 'let her know that I am directing ALL Federal Law Enforcement to be at the family’s, and Local Law Enforcement’s, complete disposal, IMMEDIATELY.'

He continued: "We are deploying all resources to get her mother home safely. The prayers of our Nation are with her and her family."

"GOD BLESS AND PROTECT NANCY! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP," he concluded.

It comes as Savannah and her siblings, Annie and Cameron, took to social media to make a desperate plea to their mother's supposed captors.

In the video, she said: "We are ready to talk. However, we live in a world where voices and images are easily manipulated.

"We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you have her. We want to hear from you and we are ready to listen. Please, reach out to us."

They also drew attention to Nancy's health; while she has no cognitive issues, she does rely on a daily medication, which she is currently without.

Savannah explained: "She is 84 years old. Her health, her heart is fragile. She lives in constant pain. She is without any medicine. She needs it to survive. She needs it not to suffer."

Elsewhere in the video, she reaffirmed: "We will not rest. Your children will not rest until we are together again."

Savannah, who has co-anchored TODAY since 2012, was due to cover the Winter Olympics opening ceremony in Milan this week.

Nancy was a familiar face on the NBC show, having joined Savannah for features and interviews over the years.

Her most recent TODAY appearance was in November, when Savannah visited Tucson for a 'homecoming' segment, showcasing the city's beauty, community and her family life.

Nancy is described as five feet five inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on her is being urged to call 911.
