Casino.org enters the Guinness Book of World Records by breaking the record for most casinos visited in 24 hours

“Las Vegas is a city built on hopes, dreams and a little bit of crazy.”

Well, that is exactly what Casino.org, Canada’s top online casinos review site, and two reality TV stars needed as they shattered the Guinness World Record for the most casinos visited across 24 hours.

For over 30 years, Casino.org has been helping players with their search for the perfect environment to play in, through trusted guides from a leading team of experts and their reviews, but now they have set their sights on worldwide records to go alongside that.

On September 25, Joel Strasser and Garrett Smith - military veterans and best friends who appeared on season 35 of Amazing Race - teamed up with Casino.org to take on the previous record of 74.

Kimo Ah Yun and Gary Meyer set that impressive mark in October 2017 and plenty of folks figured it would never be topped. Maybe because of the endurance, stamina, or rules, but the former members of the Idaho Army National Guard and Military Police Corps are not your average competitors.

Armed with a map of Southern Nevada to hand and bikes at the ready as their ride of choice, the duo set off on the Thursday morning before covering a jaw-dropping total of 129.5 miles to not only set a new record - but blow the previous one out of the water.

Guinness World Records regulations state that those attempting the record must gamble on a table game or electronic table game, instead of a slot machine. Strasser and Smith cruised to 115 different casinos in Sin City.

Speaking after the record was confirmed by adjudicator Michael Empric, Smith said: “First of all, we want to thank the sponsors, this is awesome!

“We had a big team that helped us. Thank you everyone for all your help!”

To which Strasser added: “This record was tough. We knew when we decided to undertake it, others had tried and failed.

“We looked at it and said we are going to figure out a way to do this. It was so hard. Thank you so much guys.”

By backing Strasser and Smith on their wild adventure, Casino.org spotlighted the thrill of gaming while also incorporating the adventurous spirit that defines Las Vegas - the Entertainment Capital of the World.

Helping the duo to write a new chapter in both Guinness World Record and gambling history, Casino.org once again proved why it is the leading online casino review site and helped promote the fun and stories that make the casino world truly unforgettable.
