A man who went viral after recording himself licking a toilet has said he won't speak to his family because 'they don't have followers'.

Larz, a Gen Z social media influencer who has more than 300,000 followers on Instagram, has been slammed online after a video of him and a fellow TikToker being interviewed by Dr. Phil resurfaced on X.

The post, by @PicturesFoIder, has accumulated more than 8.7 million views in 24 hours, and let's just say his comments have bewildered users.

Speaking on the couch, Larz said: "I mean I don't talk to my family, they're irrelevant."

And the comments from X users rolled in: 'if he's so famous, why don't I know who he is?', 'the real pandemic is narcissism', while another joked 'we had a good run as a species'.

But in the video what really riled the audience up was when he said they were irrelevant, as well as his family.

Larz said: "Everyone's upset with it, maybe because you guys aren't relevant either so you don't understand."

Quick to their defence Dr Phil said: "You know what I found? The bigger the star the smaller the ego."

Appearing in 2022 on the Australian radio show, Kyle and Jackie O Show, Larz was asked by presenter Jackie ‘O’ Henderson if he no longer speaks to his family, to which he replied: “Of course not. I stopped talking to them so long ago, it’s actually embarrassing that people would think I still talk to them.”

When asked who he speaks to instead, he said: "I talk to Cardi B over Instagram DM. We met on Twitter in 2015 and ever since have talked fluently.

"I'm just more famous than everyone and I won't talk to people who aren't unless they get the same amount of followers as me."

He went on to say that he’s from a big family with five brothers and four sisters and that he’s blocked them all on Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat, and won’t speak to them until they get the same amount of followers as him.

On Dr Phil when he mentioned he wouldn't speak to his family, he followed up with: "They're irrelevant, none of them have followers. If they have followers or got rich I'd probably talk to them again."

Like us, it baffled Dr Phil who wanted to clarify that what he heard was what he said - yes doctor, it was.

He continued: "If they had followers they would be here right now."

Dr Phil responded: "You're talking about your mother?"

To which Lars replied: "I mean, my mom has more followers than my sister."

However, it appears Larz does not use his social media account all that much, with the last post on his Instagram coming in 2018, while his TikTok account has since been removed.
