A dance group have spoken out after their street performance was interrupted by an unwelcome visitor.

Despite it being 2024, many women still don't feel safe even walking in public due to the behavior and actions towards them for certain types of men.

Last year, a delivery driver told UNILAD about how she disguised herself as a man in a bid to protect herself, while another woman spoke about how she responded to a catcall from a construction worker.

And now, a K-Pop dance cover group has since taken to social media to share footage of when a man came 'dangerously close' to them as they were trying to perform a routine in the streets.

Bubble Tea Pandas are a K-Pop dance cover group from Munich, Germany.

A member of the group named Mai Linhii took to her TikTok page earlier this week to share a video of their dance cover of 'Touch' by LA girl group, KATSEYE, in a public square in Germany.

The caption reads: "Public dance is all fun until some guys came dangerously close to us."

Indeed, the video highlights the moment a member of the public runs in from one side and stands very closely behind one of the women in the dance group, holding his hand up and seemingly trying to copy their moves.

Almost immediately, the dance troupe's camerawoman swoops in, with Mai noting that she 'protected us in the end' and it's not taken long for people to flock to the post to weigh in.

One TikTok user said: "I love the lady who pushed it away."

"It' got me chuckling," another added, while a third commented: "Since birth, men have been a nuisance."

"That was the face of 'If you touch anyone, I'll make sure its the last thing you ever touch' and I love it," a fourth wrote.

A fifth said: "Her aura points are 10000x she did not look scared period."

And as a sixth resolved about the camerawoman: "I want to be her when I grow up."

Mai later updated that after the camerawoman intervened, the person 'luckily left'.

However, she added: "I was scared tbh bc they were reaally drunk."

She also responded to a user who questioned whether or not the individual was 'trying to dance with y'all' stating: "Sadly they just made fun of us and mocked us. "They already made fun of us before we started to dance."
