Newly released US government files have exposed disturbing details about Jeffrey Epstein’s private life - and it’s his chilling online shopping history that’s now drawing attention.
The registered sex offender was arrested in July 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges involving underage girls, but died the following month in a New York jail cell while awaiting trial.
As part of an ongoing Department of Justice (DOJ) review, records have been made public detailing thousands of Amazon purchases linked to the disgraced financier in the years before his death. According to reports shared by the New York Post, the receipts span from 2014 to 2019 and show Epstein allegedly ordered more than 1,000 items through his Amazon account.
CNN reports that roughly 750,000 files have already been reviewed and released by the DOJ, while close to 700,000 more remain under examination - which could take 'a few more weeks', the department confirmed.

Among the most disturbing entries are orders for schoolgirl-style clothing, including pleated skirts and full uniforms - with records revealing the items were purchased in 2018 and shipped directly to Epstein’s Manhattan residence.
Relational trauma psychologist Desiree Nazarian reviewed the shopping list and said the combination of items was deeply concerning.
"The presence of these child-coded items alongside these sexual tools is so clinically alarming," she told the New York Post.
"Everything on this list is really common in predatory profiles. It’s marked by coercion, entitlement, dominance and control of narrative."
Also listed is a Sonic prostate massager priced at $61.50, which Epstein allegedly bought just days after Christmas that same year. The shopping history further includes binoculars and a number of sexual wellness products. One of them was Vagifirm, a herbal supplement marketed as promoting 'increased lubrication and libido', as well as firmer breasts, retailing at $64.95.

Other items detailed in the files include an FBI costume, combat trousers associated with the Israel Defence Forces, multiple sauna hats, and four novels written by Vladimir Nabokov - one of the those was Lolita, the controversial book centered on paedophilia.
"It’s all about eroticized hierarchy, the FBI costume, the tuxedo. It’s role play around dominance, punishment, impunity, it’s like this oscillation between being the authority and staging the persecution," Nazarian added.
