Today (December 3), the House Democrats on the Oversight Committee have released never-before-seen photos of the infamous private island once owned by Jeffrey Epstein.
Epstein purchased the island of Little St. James in the US Virgin Islands in 1998 and later bought the neighboring island of Great St. James in 2016.
Now, new footage and imagery has been shared of one of the islands where Epstein is believed to have abused some of his victims.

The Oversight Committee first shared photos of one of the islands on social media. The photos are believed to have been taken on the island of Little St. James.
Tweeting the news, the committee said: "BREAKING: Oversight Dems have received never-before-seen photos and videos of Jeffrey Epstein's private island that are a harrowing look behind Epstein’s closed doors.
"See for yourself. We won’t stop fighting until we end this cover-up and deliver justice for the survivors."

Several photos have also been released. The snaps were taken in 2020, PBS reports.
According to the BBC, the US Virgin Islands provided the files to the committee following its subpoena for the content on November 18.

Speaking about the release of the new photos and footage, Rep. Robert Garcia, Democratic ranking member on the House Oversight Committee, said in a press release: "These new images are a disturbing look into the world of Jeffrey Epstein and his island.
"We are releasing these photos and videos to ensure public transparency in our investigation and to help piece together the full picture of Epstein’s horrific crimes. We won’t stop fighting until we deliver justice for the survivors."
Garcia added: "It’s time for President Trump to release all the files, now."

One photo appeared to show a dentistry-like chair in one of the rooms. Meanwhile, another snap was of a blackboard with redacted words on it. You could see the words 'power' and 'deception' scribbled across it, however.
The blackboard was seemingly located in an office. In front of it were four armchairs and a large desk.

There was also a photo of a landline phone released. On the right-hand side of it was a list of speed dial names reading: NY Office, Darren OFF, Darren Cell, Mike Cell, Patrick Cell, Larry Cell.
Some of the other speed dial names were redacted.

The release of the photos comes after the committee requested that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, come and testify in the US to help them with their enquiries into Epstein.
The former senior royal was given a November 20 deadline to respond, and it appears as if he didn't get back to them.
He will not face any legal repercussions for failing to respond, though. He is not a US citizen; therefore, he is not legally obliged to cooperate.
