A heartbreaking letter penned by Emilie Kiser has been released after the TikTok star filed a lawsuit asking that records on her son's death be sealed.
In May, Kiser's three-year-old son Trigg tragically died after falling into the family's swimming pool.
Police were called to her home on May 12 and administered CPR on the young boy before he was taken to hospital. Sadly, Trigg died a few days later.
In the wake of the unimaginable ordeal, Kiser filed a lawsuit asking that the records on her son's traumatic death be sealed.

Part of the suit read: "Emilie and her family desperately want to grieve in private, but sadly, the public will not let them. Trigg’s death has become a media frenzy.
"Disclosure of graphic or intimate death-related records causes renewed trauma to surviving family members and violates their right to grieve privately."
There had reportedly been over 100 public record requests made with the city of Chandler and the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office.

Kiser went on to win the legal battle and a judge ruled that she was able to redact two pages from a Chandler Police Department report, allowing her to keep some privacy surrounding her son and his death.
Some details have since come to light, however, including a police report that cited that Trigg 'was in the backyard unsupervised for more than nine minutes, and in the water for about seven of those minutes'.
Kiser was not home on the day in question and her husband, Brady Kiser, was caring for the boy and their newborn son.
Now a letter penned by Kiser has been made public. It was part of the documents submitted to the Arizona Superior Court for Maricopa County in May.

In the heartbreaking letter, Kiser described Trigg's death as 'the most severe and emotional event I have ever experienced', E! News reports.
"I was not home when this happened," Kiser continued. "I will forever second guess that decision, among many others. The tragedy already haunts me."
Going on to ask for privacy, the TikTok star said: "Our love for our children has been shared and expressed worldwide, given my role as a social media personality with many 'followers' across a number of social media platforms.

"Nothing we have shared as part of my profession has depicted or been intended to depict anything but deep and adoring love within our Family. That is how it should stay forever in my mind and the minds of all others."
She further noted the 'media frenzy' Trigg's sudden passing caused and alleged that helicopters had been circling their home.
"The story of Trigg's tragic death has been all over the news, social media and online. I am now aware that Trigg's death was announced on social media less than 2 hours after he passed. In fact, Fox News wrongfully announced that he was dead immediately after the event," Kiser wrote, per PEOPLE.

"Media has come to my front door asking for comment. Unknown people have come to my home and asked to 'pray over the house.' Cars have parked outside of my house and driven back and forth with cameras out their window waiting for 'views.' And random packages are being delivered from people whom I do not know."
