Elon Musk has spoken out after reportedly being named in the Epstein files alongside Prince Andrew.
The tech mogul has slammed a report as 'misleading' for inferring his name is tied to the late convicted sex offender.
In the latest series of Epstein files drop, released by Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on September 26, Musk's name was mentioned in the financier's supposed 'daily schedule' of visitors to his private island, Little St James, in the US Virgin Islands.
The report indicated Musk was a potential visitor to the island on December 6, 2014, some six years after the pedophile became a listed sex offender.

The entry allegedly read: "Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec.6 (is this still happening?)"
However, Musk has now spoken out abut the implication, slamming the initial Sky News report for what he claims was its 'utterly misleading headline.'
"Anyone pushing this false narrative deserves complete contempt," he added.

Musk then denied ever making the trip to the island, instead referring to Prince Andrew's alleged visits.
He wrote: "Epstein tried to get me to go to his island and I REFUSED, yet they name me even before Prince Andrew, who did visit."
The rebuttal comes as Musk claimed President Donald Trump would feature among the files as a visitor, further alleging that his administration was covering up information about the POTUS' association with Epstein.
Trump's former 'First Buddy' made the claims on Twitter before later appearing to delete the posts.

Meanwhile, the Duke of York is named as a passenger on Epstein's private jet from Teterboro, New Jersey, to Palm Beach, Florida, on May 12, 2000.
Prince Andrew's name appears in the log alongside Epstein and his then partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted in December 2021 of sex trafficking young girls to be abused by Epstein over the course of a decade. She is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence.
Their names appear alongside two others that have been redacted.

Details of the 65-year-old British royal travelling on Epstein's plane to the island have been made public before and were heard during Maxwell's trial.
One alleged victim, who was 14 at the time, claims she had travelled on the jet alongside the Prince.
The duke has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.
The documents also show other high-profile names in Epstein’s calendar, including a breakfast party with Microsoft boss Bill Gates on Friday, December 4, 2014 and a planned lunch with tech mogul Peter Thiel - the co-founder of PayPal - on November 27, 2017.

There was also a breakfast with Trump's former chief strategist Steve Bannon on February 16, 2019 - just months before Epstein was arrested on charges of sex trafficking minors.
“It should be clear to every American that Jeffrey Epstein was friends with some of the most powerful and wealthiest men in the world,” Oversight Democrats spokesperson Sara Guerrero said in a statement.
"Every new document produced provides new information as we work to bring justice for the survivors and victims.”

The committee said the names of victims in the records have been redacted and plans to release more files once further victims have been redacted as well.
