President Donald Trump has offered up an explanation about why his youngest son, Barron Trump, is so tall.
Genetically, it's not exactly surprising that Barron inherited the tall gene. After all, Trump is listed as 6ft 3, meanwhile mom Melania is listed as 5ft 11, so it kind of makes sense that Barron would be pretty tall, too.
However, a recent photo shared on social media attracted heaps of comments, after Barron - who is somewhere between 6ft 7 and 6ft 9 - could be seen towering over the rest of his family.
The photo was shared by half-sister Ivanka Trump, ahead of Trump's State of the Union address on Tuesday (February 24).

Also in the image was Tiffany Trump and her husband Michael Boulos, Ivanka's husband Jared Kushner, as well as Donald Jr. and his girlfriend Bettina Anderson.

People were quick to comment how tall Barron has become, with one writing on the photo: "Barron is so tall!"
While another said: "Wow! Look how tall Barron is!"
And a third joked: "What are you feeding Barron?"
Trump has previously offered an explanation about why Barron is so tall, crediting Melania's mom, Amalija Knavs and her home cooked food.
Speaking in 2024 to crowds in Iowa, he said: "Great people, great parents to all of us, really. Great parents, but also to Barron. Boy, did she take care of Barron.
"That's how he got so tall, he only ate her food.
"I said you're gonna be a basketball player. He said, well I like soccer dad, actually. I thought... at you're height I like basketball better but you can't talk them into everything."

Barron is Trump's youngest son and is currently a student at New York University. He recently moved to its DC campus, meaning he was able to re-locate home to The White House.
“He’s a little on the tall side. I will tell you, he’s a tall one, but he is a good-looking guy. And he’s really been a great student. And he does like politics. It’s sort of funny,” Trump told Philadelphia’s Talk Radio 1210 WPHT.
The president has previously gushed about the relationship he has with his kids, revealing he'd been 'lucky' with how successful they had become.
"I'm lucky, you have to be a little bit lucky too... They're good kids and they work hard," he said.
"... We have a very good relationship."
