President Donald Trump has received a new approval rating, just over a year into his second term.
In a new poll from Fox News, voters were asked how they feel about Trump's presidency so far and specifically his handling of certain issues, including immigration, foreign policy, the economy and Trump's tariff policy.
While Trump's disapproval ratings have ranged between 51 and 58 percent in the same poll since March 2025, the most recent results revealed that 57 percent of voters did not approve, while almost two thirds said he was focusing on the wrong issues.
Within this figure, pretty much all Democrats polled disapproved (97 percent) while Republicans polled gave an approval rating of 87 percent.

Around 60 percent also said they disapproved of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) with just 42 percent approving of their activities.

Many voters said that the cost of living was the most important issue at present (50 percent) while 18 percent said government spending, 10 percent listed jobs, nine percent said income equality and eight percent named tariffs as the most crucial issue.
Around four percent also identified taxes as being a problem, too.
Trump did score higher on border security, with 52 percent approving while 48 percent disapproved.
White House spokesperson Davis Ingle has commented at the poll, explaining: “According to the RealClearPolitics average, President Trump is enjoying a higher approval rating than former Presidents Obama and Bush at this point in their second term, with much more hostile media coverage."
In comparison, around the same time in their second terms, Obama and Bush had approval scores of 42.5 and 38.7 percent compared to Trump's 43.3 percent.
“The highest Poll Numbers I have ever received,” Trump said on Truth Social last month.
“Obviously, people like a strong and powerful Country, with the best economy, EVER!”

The poll, which surveyed 1,004 registered voters was conducted from February 28 until March 2, so just before the US-Israel strikes took place on Iran.
However, in another recent poll, around a quarter of the population revealed that they supported President Trump's strikes on Iran (27 percent) while a much larger proportion disapproves with his use of military force (43 percent). Some 29 percent of respondents said they had no idea.
Public opinion did somewhat split down party lines, with three quarters of Democrats disapproving of the attacks, while 55 percent of Republicans approved.
