People on social media have been pointing out this blunder by Trump and admitted it they are now concerned with his mental well-being.

A video has begun circulating on social media that has many people concerned that Donald Trump isn’t exactly all there.

In a jab at Joe Biden, Trump forgot one key thing and many people online have been pointing it out.

Earlier this week, Trump spoke to the press from the Oval Office when he was asked about the central bank boss, Chair of the Federal Reserve Jerome Powell.

The president has been considering notion of firing Powell over the failure to cut interest rates and took digs at him while speaking to the press.

Trump said: “I think [Powell] is doing a terrible job, he is costing us a lot of money.

“We fight through it, the country has become so successful it doesn't have a big impact but it does hurt people trying to get a mortgage, people want to buy a house.

“He is a terrible fed chair I'm surprised he was appointed, I was surprised frankly that Joe Biden put him in and extended him.”

However, people on social media pointed out the fact that Trump was the one who appointed Powell in the first place.

This occurred during Trump’s second year during his first term as President.

Trump may have realized this fact when he was speaking due to his shift to condemning Biden for re-appointing him for a second term when he became president.

People on social media have been rather critical of Trump for this apparent gaffe, with some posts even showing the public speech Trump made praising Powell as he appointed him to the position.

One user on Twitter commented: “The man can’t even remember appointing the Fed Chair himself—yet we’re supposed to trust him with the economy, global diplomacy, and nuclear codes? If Biden had a moment like this, it’d be a media firestorm.

“But Trump? Crickets. This isn’t leadership—it’s a slow-motion train wreck, and everyone’s pretending not to see it.”

Another scathing commented read: “Trump's memory lapse about appointing Jerome Powell as Fed Chair is a glaring example of his cognitive decline and utter disregard for facts, endangering our economy and democracy with his reckless disregard for truth and accountability.”

A third even joked: “Dam didn't realize how much Trump looks like Biden.”

While another person added: “Hard to deny this as evidence of severe mental decline!”

Despite the concerns, earlier this year White House physicians have insisted that Trump is fit and healthy and prior to this they have dismissed any concerns over his mental capacity.
