Donald Trump has made another bizarre admission about whether he will make it to heaven at the inaugural Board of Peace meeting.

The board, which was set up by the Trump administration, involves 50 countries who come together to discuss the current state of the world and what can be done to ensure peace.

But as is often the case with a speech from the president, it was full of bizarre comments and tangents, including a remark about his sexual preferences.

Trump also discussed the afterlife, stating he loves to ‘joke’ and be ‘sarcastic’ about what may happen after he dies.

The president did give his ‘honest’ take on the matter however, as he discussed his chances of making it to heaven.

“I hope to make it,” Trump said. “But I doubt I will, to be honest with you. A lot of you will. I’m not so sure.”

Many flocked to social media in the aftermath of Trump's comments and it's fair to say much of the internet is seriously perplexed.

"What is he saying, I am lost," one person commented on X, while a second suggested Trump is 'trolling the media' again.

It’s not the first time Trump has discussed the afterlife, as he said in August last year that he would like to go to heaven if he could end the war in Ukraine after Russia’s invasion of the country in 2022.

Trump told the Fox and Friends breakfast show: "If I can save 7,000 people a week from being killed, I think that’s pretty — I want to try to get to heaven if possible.

"I’m hearing that I’m not doing well. I am really at the bottom of the totem pole. But if I can get to heaven, this will be one of the reasons."

After the Republican president made the comments, emails dropped in supporters’ inboxes with the subject line ‘I want to try and get to heaven’.

Newsweek reported Trump asked supporters for a $15 donation in the peculiar email exchange.

The email added: “But I believe that God saved me for one reason: TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!.

“I certainly wasn't supposed to survive an assassin's bullet, but by the grace of the almighty God, I did. SO NOW, I have no other choice but to answer the Call to Duty, but I can't do it alone."

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt later said Trump 'was serious' about the donations, adding: "I think the president wants to get to heaven — as I hope we all do in this room as well."
